Poulsbo, Washington
Welcome to Solveig Stuga!
Newly remodeled 1958 residential home located in Historic Downtown Poulsbo only a 5-minute walk to town. This darling home has been transformed into a mid century modern beauty, with modern conveniences and fun surprises. Features a ramp entrance (no stairs property), a gas range with air fryer, tv in each bedroom, super fast wifi, ample Boat/RV/Trailer parking, and super cozy bedding. There is a creek out back too! Only 20 minutes to/from Kingston and Bainbridge ferries.
Poulsbo is the perfect launching point for the Olympic Peninsula, downtown Seattle, and Kitsap county. It's a 20-minute drive from the Seattle and Kingston ferries. The Port Gamble trail system has miles and miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking. If you love history, check out Port Townsend and Fort Worden with some WWII bunkers. So many directions you could go from Poulsbo!
The space
BOAT & RV PARKING INCLUDED! Bring your boat to Poulsbo and enjoy the beauty of Liberty Bay. There is a boat launch right downtown (2 minute drive!). Use of our private 20-foot slip is available for additional purchase, or you can use he public moorage through the Port of Poulsbo (first come-first serve).
This open and airy little cottage has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The main space is open concept and provides multiple zones for hanging out, eating, playing games and relaxing with a good book. The kitchen has a gas range, and plenty of cookware for those who want to cook a delicious meal. Although there are so many amazing dining options within a 5-minute walk you don't have to cook if you don't want to! Each cozy room has it's own TV, so you can snuggle in bed and binge your favorite shows - or catch a well-needed nap. There is a hide-a-bed in the living room, however currently I would not advise an adult sleep there - it's NOT comfy. However, smaller kids won't mind it a bit. ;)
There is a front deck where you can sunbathe, or enjoy a meal overlooking territorial views of old-town. You might even peek some views of the bay. Out back is a large patio for entertaining, and a covered area with a BBQ and seating in the shade.
Enjoy this large lot in old-town Poulsbo which is bordered on two sides by historic farmhouses who's farms used to dominate this neighborhood until development in the 1940's. Across the street is one of the original farms in the area with its solid 1925 farmhouse still standing. To the west is the large field leading up to the old Torgeson homestead. Out back, Poulsbo Creek runs through the property where you can relax and enjoy the zen of the creek and the sound of birdsong.

Very good. Loved it
We had a great stay here. The property is lovely, as pictured and was very comfortable for us (2 parents + toddler). Great location close to downtown.
My wife and I loved staying here while visiting our Navy son. Great location to Poulsbo, wonderful property. We will be back!
Relaxing accommodations. Bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. The pamphlet on the counter had good tips for the area and clear instructions for the rental.
This was perfect for our quick stay. We only had 2 nights to spend here and would have loved to stay longer. Well stocked, all the necessities, wonderful communication from the owner. Quiet neighborhood. Great location close to Front street. A charming town. Love the 60’s vibe with modern touches.
Quaint and well appointed home with all the amenities! The host was always immediately available and accommodating. The location is superb - a short walk to downtown Poulsbo. We will be back and hope to stay here again!!
Great little bungalow in a nice neighborhood. Very walkable to shops and restaurants in Poulsbo.
My son's All Star team made it to State and that brought us to Poulsbo . The house was perfect for my son and I. Easy walking distance to downtown which I highly suggest because parking is challenging downtown. The house is charming and well stocked and they have done a great job with the space. Beds were comfortable, AC units in the bedrooms helped keep it cool.
I was in Poulsbo visiting family and needed some space to spread out. This cozy house did the trick, and I was able to easily walk to town. I even had the space and supplies to host dinner one evening. And bedroom AC units were a big plus in July! I will definitely book this house again in the future.
We have never been to Poulsbo! Took a short trip with family and had so much fun. We loved the small town amd visiting other small towns near by. Restaurants were excellent and we loved the shopping. Tge location of the house was perfect. We were clise to everything. Thank you for a great stay!
Great location. Quiet neighborhood but within easy walking distance of the main part of town. Beautifully decorated. Loved the mid century modern decor. It was nice that they accepted dogs.
Great property with a little flare and creativity. Modern conveniences present. Quiet home, close to town. Would come back again next time passing through. Easy check in, good communication. Fun place to visit.
Enjoyed this sweet home for a girls weekend. Close to town, adorably decorated, charming neighborhood & well appointed.
We had a great weekend getaway here. We could easily walk to downtown Poulsbo which we did several times a day, the house was cozy, and the hosts were super responsive. Would stay here again!
A super cute place for our family weekend getaway! So easy to get to from Seattle so we could spend our time exploring the lovely city of Poulsbo. Front street was just a short walk away which made it easy to pop down when you just HAD to have another treat from the awesome bakery. Betsy was easy and quick with communication and you can really feel all the love they have poured into this comfy and charming space. Whole family agreed we would 100% stay here again. Thank you!
It was an awesome location to venture poulsbo!! Such a cute little town and beautiful old charm of this little renovated house! We would definitely stay again!
We loved staying in this comfortable house, especially because of the way it was decorated. The neighborhood is peaceful yet you are just a short walk from where the action is. If you come on a Saturday be sure to check out the farmers market. The kitchen really does have everything you would need for an extended stay, appliances are new and high quality, full size washer/dryer. I regret that we were only able to stay four days
Very clean! Well equipped! Great location!
Great location walkable to the waterfront, restaurants and brew houses. Well appointed home with a cozy atmosphere tucked away in a quite neighborhood. We were able to enjoy the sunsets from the deck every evening and stayed comfortable even during the heat wave.
We were in town for a friend's wedding, and we wanted a rental close to the venue (Kiana Lodge). The owner was super helpful and great with communication before we even began our stay. There is a washer/dryer and an iron, which was super helpful for us. The home is so cutely decorated and the beds/sofa are super comfy to sleep on. I wish I could give a 10 out of 5 star review because the host, as well as the home itself, exceeded our expectations!
