Stayed Apr 20, 2026The Vagabond was a clean, comfortable house in a very quiet location. It was the perfect place for us to relax and for me to recover from a medical infusion that gives me severe fatigue. Due to it's location there was an abundance of wildlife including several deer that would visit daily.The bed was quite comfortable and we enjoyed the while experience. Would highly recommend.

Stayed Jan 8, 2026Loved the property and home. The property was beautifully rustic and the deer were amazing. Such a quiet neighborhood. But definitely not Waterfront as the description says. We do have access to the parks but it is a minimum of a 5-minute drive and a 10 to 15 minute walk depending on your pace. My husband caught quite a few fish and loved the river. Wimberly is an amazing town with so many great options for food, shopping, and fun. The home was darling. Very spacious, very eclectic decor, and well stocked for its guests. We loved the fireplace and everything was so cozy and comfortable.

Stayed Jun 21, 2024The house is really cute and really clean! It’s perfect for our family of four. There is one room with a king bed and the second room has two twin beds. The house was clean and decorated nicely. Located in neighborhood but was quiet and quaint. We had deer outside by the back porch every morning/evening and even throughout the day. The beds are comfortable and everyone slept well. It’s a two minute drive to a parking area by the river. I had to message host regarding WiFi issue with password and they responded quickly and issue was resolved. We had no issues with WiFi connection throughout our stay.
