Daily Reflection: Dog-Friendly, Waterfront, sunset views

Everything was as it was described.

Great house in a great location. Fishing in the sound was fantastic.

Fantastic location with amazing sunsets on the sound. Sun does get intense late afternoon so curtains in the great room would be a big help. Lots of kitchen items, beds comfortable, furniture is a bit old but ok. Dishwasher needs fixing or replaced. So all in all a fine house for us which could use a few upgrades. We will most likely rent it again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Daily Reflection. Not only is there a great view from up top, but there is also a good one from the dock, and the beach itself isn't too far away.

Sound side. Very lovely view from the living room and balcony.

Great location. Beautiful views. Kitchen well equipped. The only real downside, and this is a fairly big issue, is that ALL furnishings are due for an upgrade. Kitchen table not tall enough for the chairs provided and a little shaky. A complete mismatch of furnishings throughout the house. One of the bedframes so shaky, we thought it might collapse. With the income this house is bringing in, there is no reason for the lack of quality furnishings. Almost gave it three stars because of this.

The pictures on the website are NOT what you see when you walk into this house. The fridge was orange with rust. Every bottom cupboard had some kind of spill or stain in it. There was dust everywhere. In the master bathroom, there was a clump of dog hair, so obviously they didn't vacuum well. The mirror was covered in black spots, so much so that I had about a 12 inch round space where I could see to do my make-up. And then there were the roaches. Do NOT ever stay in this house.

We absolutely loved the location! Being sound front and able to fish and kayak out back was the best! The house is set up nice, but the furniture is literally falling apart in the living room/kitchen area. We had to sit w caution afraid we were going to break something as it's all on its last leg. The drains in both showers are so clogged that you have to wade in about 6 of water during a shower. We gave it 4 stars because of ease of rental and location. Just update a few things for safety and hygiene and it would be an amazing house!

The views could not have been better! Unfortunately, the owner doesn’t seem to put any effort into making the place nice or comfortable. The living room furniture was simply awful. There was not one place to sit inside this house that was comfortable. The sofa and decorative pillows are old and dirty. The coffee table is a joke- it looks like someone got it from the dump. It was so wobbly that you could not put a cup of coffee on it without it spilling. The refrigerator had rust all over the front of it and so did the mirror in the bedroom. Everything in the house was old and cheap, including the cookware. Everything looked like it either came from the dollar store, the flea market or the goodwill. Once again I will reiterate that the view was spectacular- but I think you can probably find a great view plus a place where the owner cares about your comfort all in one place. We will not stay here again. However, We were pleased with the feedback, checkin and checkout service with Vacasa.
