Stayed Jun 10, 2026We absolutely loved this place. It has everything you could ever need for a seaside getaway. All of the equipment in the sheds---chairs, umbrellas, as well as towels---helped us enjoy a lovely few days at the beach. I recommend using the outdoor shower as your daily ablution spot!

Stayed May 25, 2026Well-appointed, cute, very nicely decorated, clean cottage. The hosts paid attention to every detail. We could find nothing we needed other than food and beverages. Everything was provided, even shower gel, shampoo, towels and scrunchies in the outdoor shower. It was like staying at a friend’s home! They also provided a detailed notebook with instructions for everything and a list of where everything was down to the drawer or cupboard. It is ideal for someone who is flying to Chincoteague and has one suitcase. We will rent again for sure. The only negative we experienced was that the laundry products provided were highly scented. Due to our scent allergies, we brought our own unscented detergent and had to wash all our bedding, towels and dish towels before using so as not to have asthma issues. For that reason only, it was a 9/10. If the hosts change to unscented laundry products, it’s a 10/10 for sure!

Access to storage for bikes which were great Trek bikes but we brought our own and could store ours safely in the shed. Made great use of the kitchen with good quality kitchen pots, pans knives etc. used the beach cart and the cooler on wheels made going to the beach easy. Always felt safe here. TV good quality and comfortable furniture. Everything was clean and in new like condition which is rarely found in a VRBO. Loved the outdoor shower!

Everything we could have needed was provided. You could see that special care was put into every detail of this cottage, inside and outside of it. My family agreed that this was definitely one of the nicest cottages we've ever stayed in at Chincoteague- and we've been coming for years. The quality of everything provided was exceptional.

Stayed Nov 26, 2024Nice, comfortable cottage for two. Came for Thanksgiving and lots of birding on the island. Well supplied kitchen made meals easy. And Chincoteague didn't disappoint
