Cute&Chic Lake George Escape (2bedroom/2bath w/parking)

This was a cute house with lots of things available nearby. Host provided all information needed for during the stay .

A mix of annoying and nice. This is not a house in the woods/rural setting. It is a very large lot in a subdivision with trees on the property lines. The information was confusing. There is a garage to put ski equipment in but not to park in. Didn't matter because it was locked anyway. Home was immaculate which I appreciate. But being asked to take the garbage cans out to the street was ridiculous. We couldn't find the garbage can outside anyway. The biggest disappointment was having to shovel the walk and the steps just to get in. We did it twice and the stairs were still slippery and needed salt. For the price, I would have expected more amenities for the guests like safe walkways, door locks that worked and no expectation to maintain the property. The lack of kitchen equipment and supplies meant it was pretty unusable. The water and ice in the fridge was great. The host was super responsive by text. However, it seemed more set up for the host's convenience than the guest's.

House is cute, and fit the bill. Location was very good. Close enough to downtiwn for us to walk home after evening events. Parking was ample. House had slight musty smell that made us feel like it had not been aired out before our stay. We could have used a few more towels as ours did not fully dry out from one day to the next, despite hanging them up. Grounds were nice and beds were comfortable; kitchen was well equipped. Front door lock was a bit annoying, but back porch was a nice touch.

Conveniently located near NWay exit 22, this cute cottage offers a great spot between the village on Lake George ant quaint Bolton Landing. Clean and comfortable. Only one suggestion: Bedrooms are bright; need black out shades so guests don’t awaken by sun.

The toilet situation was gross and objectiveable. We had to put our toilet paper in wastebasket instead of flushing

Great location. Clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and we love the porch. The sectional couch was great. We didn’t use the fire pit but it’s a great addition.

The house was clean and overall very nice. We were very disappointed in the fact that the owner didn't disclose that the front door didn't work until the day of arrival, this is a major safety concern, and this alone would've been a deal breaker. Definitely plan on eating meals out because this house has very little kitchen equipment, we needed to purchase very basic items just to cook a simple meal. The toilet situation is also an inconvenience as you cannot flush toilet paper and need to dispose of used toilet tissue into a trash bin.

Easy to find and get in and out. We could WALK to town which was great! First impression pulling in , we almost left. Front door is soooo dirty as well as back porch. The cabin is updated , fresh paint and clean inside, bed was comfortable and we it has everything you need. No dishwashing liquid though. Ad says it has spiders & bugs (I get its in the woods) but ants all over the counters & in our food. They should exterminate and have ant traps in the kitchen. regular extermination does control pests. The maids should wipe down the porch couches. I did it and they were completely covered in mold . Also it says the doors do not work.. I automatically close bathroom doors at home..so I accidentally did and its panicking when you cant get out. Instead of rigging instructions they should just fix the doors. Overall it was a 2 in my VRBO experience so we won't return. If they put some TLC in and take care of things they could get to a 5.

Awesome place

Highly recommend! It was clean and close to everything in lake George. $10 Uber ride gets you anywhere you want to go.

We had such a great time. The rental property was just as described. Very clean and cozy. Such an easy checkin and checkout process. Definitely would book again if in the area and available.
