Cute Retro House in Knoxville Countryside

The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The host was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was more than accommodating. Plans changed more than once, and the owner worked with us to adjust the reservation. Convenient location! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The house was just as described. Very accommodating and had plenty of yard for our dog to get exercise. Less than 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville.Would definitely stay there again.

While this lovely home is called “retro” in decoration, it has all the modern conveniences. A very well stocked kitchen with every appliance you can imagine to cook and bake during your stay. All the rooms are well maintained, very clean, and comfortable including the beds and living room furniture. The owner was responsive to all correspondence and was detailed about entry. The location was easily accessible to a food market and downtown events. If I am in Knoxville again I would certainly stay at this charming home!

Very cute place with lots of homey touches - perfect for a stopover on my DC-Memphis drive. Don’t even think about staying at an interstate hotel when this is available! Bonus feature: yoga mats for stretching out the road kinks.

Very clean and well put together, convenient to Thompson-Boling arena when we were in town for the Eric Church concert. Pet friendly and just overall a great place to stay. We will definitely add this to our list of places to revisit.

Such a quaint and unique place that is decorated vintage style! We loved it. Beds were comfortable and nice smelling soaps in bathroom.

This was our second time staying here - the perfect retreat during our long drive visiting family! We’ve acquired a kitten (in addition to our dog!) since our last stay, but Wendy happily accommodated our newest family member. My father in law, spouse and I went for the TN vs AK game and this place couldnt have been more perfect, the location kept us close to the stadium but we avoided most of the traffic all together! Its perfectly located and the bedrooms and bathrooms had a hotel quality to them! Lovely, comfortable, extremely clean, and they had everything and more that we could have needed, from the Grill out back to the amazing retro kitchen (which i am so in love with!!! just adorable i wish i had that kitchen myself it took me back to my great grandparents home and my father in law back to his childhood) We had a wonderful stay, only wish i had booked a few extra days!

This is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The property was super clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. We arrived very late and they even had the lights on for us. The back porch and three season room were very lovely and nice places to sit to overlook the large backyard. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough. I hope I have occasion to stay here again.

House is super cute, has everything you need, and in a very peaceful setting. Wish we had time to sit out on the deck and enjoy the neighborhood, but we were on the go all the time. Easy access to Knoxville to drive yourself and Ubers were quick and no problem at all on game day.

Came for a concert and needed a place to stay overnight. Great location. Clean home. 10 minutes from downtown Knoxville.

The check-in process was really smooth. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor space for our . The Wi-Fi access very good.The only small improvement would be to provide some hangers in the closet, few extra towels and a can opener.Also, instruction on where to put the garbage. Overall it didn’t affect our enjoyment.We’d happily recommend this place to friends and family and would definitely book again in the future.

Absolutely loved the place! You could tell it has been well cared for and loved over the years. So many cool extras - the sun porch, the large yard, the retro gliding metal rocker out back. And our pup loved the dog treats!

I can't say enough good things about this property and the rental experience! The house is in a great location in East Knoxville, it's the perfect size for a couple or a small family, and it's just a great house. Several family and friends visited while we were there and everyone commented on how amazing it was. The property manager was fantasic to work with. She even left out treats four our dogs! The house was impeccable when we arrived and stocked with everything you might need, including coffee and cream. We would happily stay here again. I can't reccomend it highly enough!

My partner, pup, and I stayed in Wendy’s home as a pit stop during a 10 hr drive back from a long weekend trip to visit family. She was wonderful, accommodating, and quick to answer our messages as we flustered our way through our stay. She even left some treats for our pup, which really made us feel welcome and at home. Very little noise, and a quick stop off the highway. (Not to mention a perfect sunroom to work from!) Would absolutely stay at this peaceful home again!

This stay was one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve stayed at airbnbs and hotels all over Europe, Asia and the USA. My only regret is that we did not stay longer! The place is so cute and the bathroom was as stocked as a hotel and the kitchen as stocked as a home. The place was so cute and clean and very comfortable. We loved it and hope to be back someday with more family. Thank you so much for your hospitality and quick responses.

Great location for feeling like you are away from the city, but extremely convenient! Cutest retro decor makes you just want to slow down and take it in. Immaculate and clean inside and out. Can really tell lots of love went into this home. Wendy was very easy to communicate with and very flexible and accommodating!

Had a great stay at this little retro house for our daughter’s graduation weekend. It was close enough to the campus to not dread the journey to go let the dog out. There is a nice little street to walk your dog and Wendy thought of all the little things you might need. (Ex- coffee pods, water bottles, extra ice in freezer, even an extra tooth brush for my daughter that forgot hers)Another plus was that it was super clean and had cooking supplies you might need and the grocery store was literally1.4 miles away. Overall a great stay where we could have our doggie and enjoy some quiet time when not celebrating with our daughter.

We had a nice quiet stay. We brought our dogs and there was plenty of yard for them to roam. I would definitely recommend if you want something convenient but close to the city.
