Cute cottage on the golf course

Quiet and cute house on the golf course. Great patio deck for quiet sunsets. Saw multiple deer in the evening. Close to town amenities.

It was a comfortable, relaxing cabin and just what we needed. Very clean, host was very nice and responsive with any questions.

It was great. We had such a fun time! Would stay there again!!

Location in the woods, nature and beauty of the island

We very much enjoyed staying at this cottage on Madeline Island. The rooms and the kitchen were well maintained and the space was the perfect size for our family. We used the sauna regularly and took the canoe out to the Lagoon every day we were there. The cottage is very close to La Pointe and so we were able to catch the sunset at the Inn at Madeline Island one night and do take out pizza and ice cream the other night. The property manager is very accessible and just really made the whole experience top notch.

Smelled of mold, dishes were dirty. There were broken boards on the deck. Dirt and old socks under the bed.

We have stayed here in August for several years. It's a great spot! It's quiet and you can enjoy nice views of the golf course, but also very convenient to the town, marina, Joni's Beach etc. It was a little too warm and humid this time, but the AC in the living room and ceiling fans made it comfortable for sleeping. We'll be back!

Fabulous

Overall the stay was great! The owners were very responsive with my questions about the area and best places to watch fireworks - which was such a sweet bonus! The only downside is that the house could use a good deep clean. There was several spider webs inside, some bugs crawling around, and lots of dust built up on most of the decorative furniture. But the main areas like the kitchen and table were clean, bedding and linens supplied were also clean and fresh so we were not too bothered. We watched the 4th of July fireworks over the golf course and had the best private view! It was great!

A wonderful stay! A little far to be walkable to downtown LaPointe but a very easy drive. Loved the view from the cottage and how comfortable we felt. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed multiple times in this cute cottage. It’s great for us (mom, dad, adult daughter). We especially like how it feels like it’s out in the woods but it’s also walking distance to LaPointe! Also there’s plenty of shade & nice golf course views.

Besides this place needing a few updates and some deep cleaning, it satisfied our need to visit the island and relax.

We had a great time at the cottage. The location on the golf course and just a short bike ride outside of town was perfect. Lots of nice touches like a large deck, 2-story observation tower and cable TV. The place was clean enough but not spotless and could use some additional kitchen supplies and onsite laundry. All in all, a nice place that we would stay at again.

We already want to go back! Everything about this cute cottage was great, the location (close enough to town but far enough out to not feel crowded), the relaxed feel inside and the extras that made the stay enjoyable and easy. We had access to a canoe and a sauna. The beds and bedding were comfortable. With small children this place was perfect, we had space to roam but it still had a neighborhood feel.
