Leadville, Colorado
Recently remodeled, cozy, comfortable furniture and beds. 1/2 block off Harrison Ave. (mainstreet) means an easy walk to dining and shopping! In the morning, head up to City on a Hill coffee shop and get caffeinated for a day of mountain fun! Our large front deck is a great spot to lounge in the sun with a cold beer at the end of a full day, meet people or just watch the world go by. Large back deck has great mountain views, gas bbq, and direct southern exposure. In the winter, walk to dinner or grab a movie in any kind of weather! The house is close enough to downtown resturants that the cold mountain air won't even have time to sink in before you are sitting down to a nice steak! Watch the snow fall from the big picture window in the living room. Make family memories playing games and cooking dinner in our newly remodeled and fully stocked kitchen. We left a few Victorian details, like original stained glass and the one dining room wall that depicts the original wood from 1888 when the house was built! The house once had 4 coal buring stoves~the old chiminies remain, but the house is now heated with trusty forced air! In the remodel, we found old sewing patterns stuffed in the walls for insulation and cigarette boxes hidden up in the bathroom, both of which are on display in the house.
We have one security camera ( w/audio) on the property and it is located outside the front door and faces the street.

We booked a ski trip for a surprise Christmas present for our kids. We had a wonderful time. The house was super clean and well-equipped. Excellent location. Jason was great to work with. Thanks for having us!
Stressless, comfortable, clean, convenient. Jason, the host/owner, is stellar/top notch, thoughtful, and accommodating. I would gladly stay here again.
We've stayed here a few times before and it's such a great location. The house is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed cycling, hiking and kayaking. We ate at the Delaware, Mtn Pies and Tennessee Pass Cafe as well as Wild Bills. All good. My friends just stayed 3 days. I stayed 2 weeks and loved all the opportunities L ville has to offer.
Great house close to downtown. Excellent basecamp for outdoor adventures. Everything well maintained, plenty of room for family/gear and dog friendly!
Cute place in a prefect location
House was very comfortable and clean. Great location to restaurants and stores.
This cottage had everything we needed and more! The linens and towels were clean and not worn. It was a lot bigger than I thought. Warm during winter nights. Enough pillows and blankets. Right around the corner from cafes and restaurants.
This home was the perfect getaway for our family of four. Close to shops and close to Ski Cooper. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owners were super easy to communicate with and everything was clean and cozy.
Great spot right in the heart of town. Comfortable , fully functional kitchen, nice backyard. We will definitely stay again!
Great place to experience all that Leadville has to offer. Lodging and location were awesome!
Everything was fine
Cute house. Great location
This cottage is the perfect blend of the past and present. Nicely updated and roomy layout fit our family of four perfectly. Cute decor with charming details of a bygone era. You are right of downtown dining and shopping. We loved our stay.
If you are looking to spend time in the town of Leadville, and access to amazing places, this is the perfect place! Its an easy walk to everything in town. The owner and check in process made this very easy and welcoming. Beds are very comfortable....definitely recommend
We were extremely happy with our stay in this charming home! The location was excellent and the home was perfect for us. It was very clean, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again should our roads lead to Leadville in the future.
Perfect location to stay for the Leadville 100 Stage Race. Ride to and from packet pick up, start and finish line.
Very walkable and family friendly.
Leadville is a magical little mountain town—nothing flashy but truly authentic. House reflects the essence of Leadville…nothing flashy but quaint and homey. A great little get away.
Spent a lovely, quiet weekend enjoying the mountain views. Lazy mornings sipping coffee on the back deck doing some light reading. Took a nice walk on the Mineral Belt Trail and had a delicious dinner at the Tree Line Kitchen. Even got a reservation to do some shopping at Melanzana! Will definitely rent this spot again!
This review is almost a year overdue. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful experience at Jason's vintage, renovated Leadville house with our Bernese Mountain Dog. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck and met several of his friendly neighbors while they were out walking their dogs. The house is an easy walk to many shops and restaurants, which we loved. I called Jason with some questions and he was very responsive. We would definitely stay at his place again.
