Recently remodeled, cozy, comfortable furniture and beds. 1/2 block off Harrison Ave. (mainstreet) means an easy walk to dining and shopping! In the morning, head up to City on a Hill coffee shop and get caffeinated for a day of mountain fun! Our large front deck is a great spot to lounge in the sun with a cold beer at the end of a full day, meet people or just watch the world go by. Large back deck has great mountain views, gas bbq, and direct southern exposure. In the winter, walk to dinner or grab a movie in any kind of weather! The house is close enough to downtown resturants that the cold mountain air won't even have time to sink in before you are sitting down to a nice steak! Watch the snow fall from the big picture window in the living room. Make family memories playing games and cooking dinner in our newly remodeled and fully stocked kitchen. We left a few Victorian details, like original stained glass and the one dining room wall that depicts the original wood from 1888 when the house was built! The house once had 4 coal buring stoves~the old chiminies remain, but the house is now heated with trusty forced air! In the remodel, we found old sewing patterns stuffed in the walls for insulation and cigarette boxes hidden up in the bathroom, both of which are on display in the house.
We have one security camera ( w/audio) on the property and it is located outside the front door and faces the street.

Perfect home, perfect location. This home has everything you need. Was able to cook full meals here. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Had a tiny maintenance issue and the communication was excellent and fixed quickly. Will stay here again Jason the owner and Colin the maintenance man were wonderful to work with.

Easy street parking for my car on a regular week, private spot out back if needed also. Loved the setup of the house. Had all the essentials plus for me to prepare all three meals each day. I used the Samsung tv with my iPad for the little bits of the digital world I wanted. Super comfortable and super accessible. Def staying here again for my next LV travels.

I originally booked house for my husband and I, along with one dog. Then my daughter and son in law decided to join us with their two dogs. I hesitated- thinking the house would not fit us all comfortably. But…we had MORE than enough room. It was home away from home. Pleasantly surprised. Fully stocked kitchen/bath/laundry. Back yard accommodated three medium-large dogs perfectly with enough room for “zoomies” ! Great location! We walked everywhere and grocery store was just a short drive. Beautiful views of mountains and nice neighborhood to walk dogs and enjoy the Mountain View. Jason responds quickly and gives wonderful instruction/reply to any questions. Beds sleep comfortably. Plenty of windows for that fresh mountain air and the sun skylights in house provided so much light - I kept thinking we left lights on. Just a superb house! We enjoyed it so much! Short drive to Turquoise Lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We will be staying here again!

This is a charming home. The layout felt spacious, with plenty of room for our family of 5 and 1 dog. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and everything was clean. Jason was easy to work with when we made the reservation and we had no issues come up while we were there. The location is great - easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the trail for dog walking or cross country skiing. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Fun and snowy weekend in Leadville. Got some cross country skiing in on the Mineral Belt trail. Enjoyed some delicious pizza at The Famous and yummy cocktails at Before & After. Jason's home was comfortable, clean and close as always!

The cottage was exactly as advertised: a short walk to Main St. shops, restaurants and the train depot; clean; well-appointed; simple; and met our needs perfectly. Fenced back yard with some lawn, Parking in front and in alley.

We (myself and 2 pups) enjoyed our stay here very much. Everything in the house is clean and as-pictured. The yard is cute and the front porch worked great to be in the shade on a few very-warm afternoons (at least for Leadville!). It's just a few steps to Leadville's main street so the location is great as well. Lastly-- I've stayed in a number of victorian-style vacation rentals... this one has one of the most sensible layouts for a 2-bedroom setup. Wouldn't hesitate to come again!

This was the most charming home to sit out on front deck and have a glass of wine after a long day of fishing! The back deck was nice as well (especially when we could sit out there and play with our dog) .. yard was just all she needed. The house had everything you would need and all the old items displayed throughout made it nostalgic. The crystals and new items helped create just the right ambiance. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our week in Leadville - we would definately return!

Had a great time. The home is very welcoming, and it invites you to stick around and relax. That said, there are great places within walking distance, like the Opera House and restaurants, and within a short distance driving.
