Stayed Jan 28, 2026Great location. Good amenities. Heater couldn’t keep the place warm. Could be due to unusually cold weather during our stay.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025It was an okay property. It was very close to a good amount of places we went. Check in directions were easy to understand. Couch was very comfortable. We did find a dead cockroach when we checked in so will be making sure to shake out our clothes. That was the only one we saw. The house gets very hot during the day despite the ac being down to 62.

Stayed Sep 17, 2025The property overall was just alright. We enjoyed our stay, but the house is very old and although they renovated some things, more need to be done. The house gets very hot during the day, but cools off at night. Half of the lights and/or ceiling fans did not work. There’s not many outlets around. The kitchen and bathroom are very very small.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025I got there Thursday 6/18 at 6:30pm and the was was extremely hot! This house is in Dallas ,Tx so it’s hot there anyway but the house was so hot we had to go buy box fans just to finish unloading our luggage and get to a meeting. I started calling / texting / & emailing all the contact numbers that was provided and no one answered. I emailed a list of concerns on Thursday and told them about the air not working, and it was not until Saturday that someone sent me a email about checking in and never said anything about the air not working and the TV not working. I then call VRBO and they tried to get in touch with the host and they didn’t respond to them either.i keep emailing asking for a refund and they ignored me completely. Then they sent aEmail saying it was air conditioning units in two of the 3 bedrooms (which was a complete lie & I have pictures of each window! The tub kept getting clogged up every time you ran the shower. Late Saturday night about 1 am someone contacted me and said they didn’t have maintenance men available and they would let me know when they have one and we check out Sunday morning at 8am. Currently on the phone with VRBO trying to get a refund. I have been renting from VRBO for years (over 15) and this was the worst host / house I ever stayed in. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. They will ignore you and act like they are clueless. It’s like they don’t care about the guest or the house. The list of concerns was so long and they never fixed anything.

Stayed Dec 25, 2024Property had an active water leak from the ceiling directly onto the bed during the beginning of our stay, rendering the space uninhabitable for the intended use. I had to vacate the property, as I had two small children who needed a dry bed and bedroom. Despite clear documentation of the issue (videos and photos of the leak) and immediate communication with the provided property management, the responder:- Denied the severity of the documented leak- Suggested I cancel rather than addressing the issue- Refused to provide any compensation for uninhabitable conditions- Claimed my evidence was 'inflated' despite video proofPotential guests should be aware of:1. Maintenance issues may not be addressed promptly2. Documentation of issues may be disputed3. Property management communication may come from multiple points of contact with varying personalities and professionalism (or lack thereof)3. Lack of resolution through proper channels (VRBO dispute process)I attempted to resolve this through both property management and VRBO's official channels before leaving this review.

Stayed Dec 20, 2024They’ve done some upgrades to the property but it still has a few issues. 1) There is only 1 vent for the living room, kitchen and dining room. So that area was hard to heat up but the bedrooms got real hot. 2) The tub leans and when my wife was shaving her legs her leg would slid.3) There was an outlet that was made for 2 switches out it only had one. I used it and it was fine but it was a little scary. 4) There is a mirror that faces the toilet. It was weird looking at myself while using the bathroom. On the plus side it did make me start working out more. The house is worth what we paid I just think they need to finish with all the work before renting it out again.

Stayed Nov 21, 2024Long story short, this property was not ready or in livable conditions for anyone. I believe that the hosts are fully aware of this fact. There were holes in the wall that made the house drifty. The windows were so dirty and unkept that we couldn’t open them. There were too many half done repairs to count. There were mouse droppings and the night before check out the rat ran across the living under the sofa. When it was reported to the host I was asked things like “where did it come from? What was the location? Where did it escape from?” Like I followed it. The claims was they “rodent proofed” the property but they didn’t. All round horrible experience. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. We were the first and hopefully their last guest at this property. 1 pro - the hot water was great.

Stayed Nov 8, 2024Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The area is being gentrified so there are a lot of upscale homes in the area and more being built. The house was like pictured (a little smaller than we thought but quaint and cozy still - and we didn't need extra space anyway since we were out most of the time). Clean towels were provided, along with 4 rolls of toilet paper and 3 rolls of paper towels. The house was a bit on the cooler side but the thermostat was not locked so we were being to adjust to our liking. The ness were comfortable. There were thin blankets so if your the type who like large heavy blankets you might wanna bring your own. For us they worked and were great. The house was clean, though being an older house had its fair share of quirks that may be an issue for others. For example the bathroom door wouldn't close due to the door jam and door jam hole not aligning. The door knob could lock but was made moot by a door that wouldn't stay out in the door frame. We got a door stop to address this. This fact didn't bother us and we did report it and there was quick communication on it. We passed on a maintenance person coming out as it would've been an inconvenience to us (we felt it was going to be a minute to address the door). At check in there was a mix up but that was addressed when we gave a phone call. Thus,, overall our stay was pleasant.
