Custom home by the sea!

Property was very nice and location was wonderful. House was a little worn and dated in some areas but overall in good condition. Contradicting information in the VRBO listing vs the agent’s information vs the agreement led to some confusion.

Absolutely brilliant vacation. There were so many spectacular things about this home that I don’t know where to start. Spacious, clean, well appointed, fun layout, comfortable beds. And the location, so close to a private beach and yet walking distance to fun activities in Dewey. And on top of all that, communications were quick and flawless. The very few issues that we had during our stay were addressed immediately with solutions that were far more considerate than I would have expected. This was a triple purpose vacation, my kids were working with a broadcast crew to broadcast a professional volleyball tournament in Dewey. It was also my daughter’s 16th birthday so she had a few friends join us, and we invited family to come down for the week. The head of the broadcast crew has young children who stopped by the house on Monday to hang out on the beach with us. Their kids were enamored with the jungle room and couldn’t get enough of the beach. My kids (teenagers) were enamored with the rooftop deck and the close proximity to Dewey. All of the adults appreciated the comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and clean house. The neighbors were even nicer than I would have expected. I just can’t say enough about this experience and this home. I guess the best way to demonstrate how much I liked the experience, I just booked the same house again for next summer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation week in this spacious house close to the beach. House had everything we needed beach chairs, umbrellas, HD TV. Would definitley rent again.

Great location, great house and very well stocked with all that you would need. From kitchen utensils to beacj chairs to bikes and paddle boards, this place had it all. WOuld definitely rent from again!

The location is just steps to the beach and a short walk to the bars and restaurants in Dewey. The roof deck was great for eating dinner and watching the amazing sunsets over the bay! The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. A great house!

We had a wonderful time at this house. I rated the online listing lower because it was so much better than the pictures and description. The house was so easy to spend time in and the decks were just delightful! There were 12 of us (some children) and we all enjoyed it. We also loved how convenient it was to the beach. It was also so quiet even though we were just blcoks away from the town. We would definitely consider staying there again!

Overall the week was good. I would recommend the property owner/manager purchase additional utensils/table ware — there was not enough. Specifically, the silverware. The furniture was well used and as a result was uncomfortable- when you sat on the couch you would sink into the cushions. Perhaps an update on furniture. The bedroom mattresses were very uncomfortable. There were beach chairs and passes - these were really useful and a nice addition to the property. The location has easy access to the beach. Overall it was okay, but we would not consider renting this listing again.
