Custom Family Beach House - Pet & Child Friendly

This house immediately felt like home. My 3 and 5yr old kids ran to the slide in the yard and all the toys inside. It was such a clean and comfortable beach house, I am blown away! Everything I reached for was there. I absolutely loved cooking in the kitchen, it was very well appointed. My kids loved the love heart beds, the sand toys and books. The beach was beautiful and you could get a solid 5 mile walk in. It was very quiet and peaceful. David was very communicative and a wonderful host. We can't wait to book this lovely home again! 10/10 amazing.

House was very clean and right on the beach. Dog friendly but they must stay on main floor. Enjoyed are stay, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying here for four nights. The house is super clean, and we found all the rooms to be comfortable. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed plus more to cook. Having the beach so close and being able to enjoy the incredible views is what made our time here super special. We loved seeing the mountains across the water and watching for seals to pop their heads up. With the great house, quiet neighborhood and responsive host I highly recommend staying here.

This is our second visit and we’ll be back! Wonderful house with everything we needed. Great access to the beach for lots of walks. We love how kid friendly it is with toys for our 4.5 year old. David is very attentive and easy to communicate with.

Wonderful home on a great beach. Quiet community. Everyone in our family of four loved the very spacious house and had a great time.

Wow. What a home. We were able to work with the host for an earlier check in time, it was more beautiful than the pictures could show, it was an easy journey from SEA Intl. and we’ve never stayed at a more well-stocked home. There was everything you could need there, from the kitchen, to kids toys and books, to towels and beach toys, a stair gate for any crawling babies, vacuums, soaps and clean detergents, etc. Especially wonderful was how clean everything was without smelling like Fabuloso… I’m extremely sensitive to smell and it was both incredibly clean -and- entirely unscented. No Febreeze, no fabric softens, not plug-ins. Just *clean*!

Third year renting this wonderful home. Being on the beach is a highlight as well as the cleanliness and comfortableness of the home.

Located on a quiet dead-end street. Great beach walks with few people and lovely exposure to an unspoiled preserve. The sunsets were spectacular. Very well appointed home with something for everyone.

The location is amazing. The house is conveniently located and is well stocked with everything one might need, from books, to board games, to kids toys and sand toys, and kitchen supplies.

We had another lovely stay at David’s beach house! This was our fourth stay and is becoming an annual tradition. The house has plenty of space, is well-appointed, has comfortable beds, right on the beach, and the views are amazing! We love enjoying all the beach has to offer including paddleboarding, exploring low tide, watching the ships go by, and having friends join us for a day at the beach. We already want to plan our trip back next summer! We only hope we can stay longer next time.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We appreciated that it was extremely family friendly — outdoor and indoor toys for the kids, highchair, and pack and play! It makes it easy to not have to pack these items. We loved that it was pet friendly too. The fire pit was great as we watched the beautiful sunset each night. David's communication from start to finish was wonderful. We'd love to come back sometime!

Oh my! We had the most delightful time. I counted and we have stayed at 6 different vacation rentals on Whidbey Island and this one is the best! Clean, spacious, well equipped, and just steps to the beach. We enjoyed all the ships passing by, the many types of birds and long beach walks. We definitely hope to return.

I’ve stayed in this house multiple times and it’s always great. The location can’t be best and the house is spacious, comfortable, and well designed from top to bottom. I can’t wait until I can return.

Overall this house had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The view and beach are hard to beat. It would have been nice to have the lawn mowed and the wooden ramp to the beach is an injury waiting to happen…these were our only two minor suggestions to make it even better.

The house was just as described. The house is well-equipped, clean, and worked nicely for our family. Lots of toys and games for the kids. The house is located right on the beach - you do have to climb over some driftwood to access it but it wasn’t a problem for us including our six year old and grandma. The main bedroom is very large with a beautiful view and private bath.

We enjoyed the property very much. The house was great and the access to beach was unbeatable. Highly recommend this property

Wonderful property - quiet and relaxing. We went to Whidbey for some downtime beten the holidays. The house is spacious and clean and the communication with David was easy. We enjoyed our stay.

What a dreamy place with modern but warm beachhouse, clean, super handy to beach which is Twenty flat steps from the door. Roomy and very functional kitchen. We entertained for 13 for dinner one afternoon but had 6 in our party 2 granparents, 2 parents, and two 6 an 8 yr old active boys. Miles of beach with few people We will be back

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house was as advertised; clean, spacious, comfortable, and accommodating. The master bedroom is large and the balcony makes it an ideal position to see the amazing sunsets. It is located at the southern end of Maxwelton Beach, which means there are times you have the entire beach to yourself. The outside seating was plentiful and the grill was clean and ready to use. We will definitely return.

Overall, very happy with our stay. Fantastic beach location with amazing views. The kids had a very fun time playing on the beach. The house itself was in good condition. However, some the furniture needs updating or replacement. For example, some of the kitchen table chair backs were loose and need repair. The main living room couch is very worn and uncomfortable. Usable but at this price point I would have expected a bit nicer things. Don't get me wrong, we would stay again but want to give honest feedback and perhaps the owner will consider future upgrades. It needs it.
