Crow's Nest at Blue Mountain Beach - Ocean View - Private Beach Access

It was a wonderful stay, the house was perfect for our family with quick access to the pool and the private beach. Being close to the bakery was a huge plus as well

The house was lovely and suited my crew just fine. The listing photos show carpet in the living area and there was none, so it isn’t as colorful as what’s shown. The bedrooms are fine, but the bunk bed is rickety and the room is small. I don’t know how you’d be able to use the trundle bed in there. The crow’s nest bedroom is hot during the day, but cooled off at night and sleep was comfortable. The spiral staircase is precarious so would recommend only able-bodied sober folks go up. The kitchen is small and suitable for one cook, two at most. The kitchen supplies leave a lot to be desired and sheet pans are flimsy. The only bottle opener we located was on a manual can opener and wouldn’t work. There are 3 coffee makers - Keurig, 12 cup drip, and 4 cup drip. Take your own filters. We left salt and pepper, but no other pantry basics are available. I looked in every nook and cranny for a broom and couldn’t find one. I requested one on Friday (we arrived Wednesday), was told to keep looking, and was brought one on Sunday. I requested more towels and those were brought promptly. All communication with the management company was timely and friendly. There are lots of notes around telling you not to do this or that. Adding a ‘please’ would be a nice touch. There are outdoor cameras not mentioned in the listing, fyi. We had a nice stay overall with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen would benefit from an upgrade in supplies. Would probably stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Crow's Nest. The property is amazing, the beach was perfect, and the proximity to lots of things to do made the trip just what we needed. We would definitely return and couldn't thank the property management enough for the great communication. Thanks again!

The location of this property was great. Very short walk to the beach. The check in process and check out process was very easy. We enjoyed our stay overall! I gave this stay a 4 star review because there were several things we noticed. The blinds in one of the bedrooms didn’t close which made changing clothes and sleeping difficult. The bunk room beds were pretty wobbly- definitely couldn’t support 2 people on the top without significant noises. The trundle bed room was up in the “crows nest” but was extremely hot. Not an ideal bedroom in our opinion. Some of kitchen pans were in poor condition as well. Again, overall- a very nice property and location!

Location is good, beach is just beautiful and right down the street. The little signs all over the property on what not to do, scratchy sheets, roasting hot loft, and lack of sheets on one of the bunk beds detracted from the stars. I would say for the cost it was good but not great. Def would not stay there if you have elderly or toddlers where stairs are a concern. Property mgmt team was very responsive.

Lovely home and beautifully decorated. Great location on 30A with great local restaurants. Not sure the VRBO ad descriptions are as accurate as they state but was able to adjust. Huge issue for us, the private beach assigned to us was 22 minutes away, not 200 steps. A very kind and concerned lady with property management assisted us to get this corrected but we lost a half day of our stay because of this confusion.

The house was clean, and the walk to the private beach entrance was short and easy. However, bring your own salt & pepper, dishwasher pods, and garbage bags! Other than the tiny welcome boxes in the bathrooms and kitchen this house is bare to the bones.

We had seven family members stay and the place was great for us. A beautiful house at a great location. Made great use of the pool and beach. We had two senior family members who had a bit of a hard time on the stairs from the first floor up to the living room/kitchen area (no railing for the bottom several stairs). A new railing there would help future senior guests. Otherwise, the place was perfect and we thank the owners and management for a great stay.

House is very convenient to beach and restaurants. Needs some maintenance but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I invited our children and grand children to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The Crows Nest was the perfect place for us. Steps away from private beach access, the community pool right next door. The house was spacious and comfortable, bikes and golf cart included. Close proximity to great restaurants and coffee shops. We all had a great time, and would definitely consider staying here again.
