Fantastic location. Great amenities. The passenger train passing by ONLY during business hours is fantastic! Love waving to the folks. Could not say more! Our family loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The townhome was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We felt like we were at home there--cooking meals, watching TV as a family and relaxing. The location is easy access to downtown Durango and on the way up to Purgatory for skiing. Watching the steam train pass by was a lot of fun.

Perfect for families to enjoy, beautiful views, and close to downtown Durango.

It was such a treat to hear the train whistle and then watch from the balcony as it went by every day, and wave at the passengers.

A portable remote would’ve been great for the garage door. Kitchen was great.

This was an absolutely lovely property! It had everything we needed and more. It is well appointed, comfy, and teeming with charm. We got there at the beginning of Train Season and were thrilled to see the Durango & Silverton line right outside the patio window. This is the perfect location for your escape!!

My sisters and I had a great weekend visiting relatives in Durango and this unit met all our needs. Lovely spot, well stocked kitchen, nice large living area, comfortable beds, responsive hosts. We have rented from VRC before and have never been disappointed

We loved it! It was perfect for the four of us. The only problem was we could not get the television to work to watch our football games!

Excellent and worth the cost.

The property was beautifully furnished, the kitchen was well stocked, location was good, nice views out the back to watch the train go by, and this was the second time we have stayed in this particular unit.

We really enjoyed our time at Crimson Cliffs/5. Our family of 4 were on a West coast hiking/biking/fishing trip and we stayed here during our first trip to Durango. The location was great - close to town with the room we wanted for an adventure home base. The garage was clean and had room for our bikes & gear. The living area was clean, luxurious, and stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the train that runs very close to the rear deck (it goes by a handful of times each day and is quiet at night), and the community members we met were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful time in Durango. The location was close to town. It was fun waving to the people on the train. The property was well maintained and clean. We could also park in the garage. If we go back to Durango, we would definitely want to stay at this location again.

Perfect place to stay just a few minutes outside of Durango. The layout of the home was great and located in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to prepare meals, including a variety of cookbooks. We enjoyed watching the Durango Silverton train go right by a couple of times a day. If we ever make it back to the area I would stay here again.
