Crested Butte Getaway < 7 Mi to Ski Resort!

We had an amazing time!

This is a beautiful, spacious home in a great location. The exterior is lovely, the views are amazing, and it is very convenient to both Crested Butte and the ski area. Our group slept comfortably, and the size of the house worked very well for us.That said, there were several issues that affected our stay. All of the bath towels and washcloths were still in the dryer when we arrived, so we had to fold and put away laundry from the previous guests. About half of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, and we ended up cleaning out a dishwasher filter clogged with food debris, then rewashing the dishes ourselves. The washing machine also would not run until we completed a “clean tub” cycle.The home’s temperature control was another problem. The finished basement stayed very cold and has no thermostat, while heat from the main floor rose to the upper level, making it hard for anyone to be fully comfortable.The property manager was responsive and helpful in returning a DVD remote we accidentally left behind, which we appreciated. However, we were surprised to later receive a 40 labor charge for handling the return, since that was not mentioned in the initial discussion.Overall, we enjoyed the setting and the space, but for the cost, I expect clean dishes, working appliances, and a more polished arrival experience. Because of that, I would probably choose a different property next time.

The house was nice and updated and an overall good location in crested butte. Our only issue was that it was really close to homes around it. We thought based on pictures there was more space between homes. A lot of new home building occurring and the homes very close to one another. It took away from the tranquility we were hoping for.

our stay was awesome! The house has plenty of space and was very well done. We wish there were trash bags and more toilet paper. The views off the back deck were beautiful. The driveway is plenty long to park 4 cars. Thanks for a great time!

We just finished a great spring break at the lodge! Everything was great. The house was well stocked (the listing said we'd need to bring some supplies and it was all here) and the location was great. There was 12 of us and it was the perfect size. We are already talking about next year.

Property was just as listed. House was clean and well stocked. Plenty of space for all the kids to play and family to enjoy time together. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the ski slopes. Owners and local manager were great! So friendly and even checked on us during our stay.

Enjoyed our weekend stay with friends. Quiet neighborhood with beautiful 360 views off the porch. Property manager was quick to respond with any questions and the owner as well!

One of the best properties we have stayed at while with a group. The house had everything you needed - kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Even had an air fryer! The highlight of the place is its unbelievable view from all directions - it was like being in a movie or tv show! After the afternoon storms would pass, we were treated with rainbows - a complete double rainbow! Convenient to downtown Crested Butte and several hikes. Plus, the beds were super comfy. Communication from the property owner and property manager were awesome! Thank you, for an incredible stay!

Great house for a family trying to experience Crested Butte. Easy drive to town. Very clean and updated house. Playground for the kids a short walk down the street. Beautiful views of Mt Crested Butte and the stars at night.
