Creekside Lodge on GC w/ AC & Pool Table

Creekside at Northstar was beautifully and comfortably furnished (every room), had the most well appointed kitchen one could desire (fabulous cookware, excellent knives, every type of plate and glassware, all appliances and utensils), an excellent playroom with pool table, and access to an array of streaming options. The spacious layout with large picture windows overlooking the pine forest was a highlight. The owners and property managers made this a particularly wonderful home for a family vacation. The easy access to the Northstar resort was fabulous. We'd all happily stay here again without any hesitation.

Wonderful location- on the shuttle loop which is needed at Northstar. Very big living and kitchen space. Pull out trundle was perfect as we had 4 kiddos all in one room and two large kings for the adults. Only clarification as I didn’t catch it, the hot tub is at rec center not at the house but we did enjoy that access as well!

This property was absolutely beautiful. The setting and decor was so calming and relaxing. All the rooms, beds, layout was perfect for our group and it's an easy shuttle ride to the mountain. Lots of space to spread out with our 2 families and the massage chair is amazing! We had a wonderful stay - thank you!

Thank you for letting us stay in your AMAZING home! We love to cook and your kitchen is so well stocked! EVERYTHING you need!!! (including a. garlic press, All-Clad cookware, quality glasses including champagne glasses and a huge refrigerator/freezer.)The family room area was a great place to relax with family. And all the details: the automatic blinds, TV’s in the rooms, electric fireplaces, the boot/mitten warmers, huge windows to be able to see natural light and nature, two desks (with adjustable height) and massage chair. Perfect way to relax!

We stayed at this property with another family during the winter holiday week in February. First impression is that the property is very clean and well prepared. The property is well equipped for an extended stay (~5 days) with all the amenities. The kitchen is also fully equipped with all different sort of cooking ware, condiments, and coffee! The location is fantastic such that NorthStar shuttles do door-to-door pick up/drop off. During busy hours, it does take 30 minutes to be picked up, so plan accordingly. The host is highly responsive to the needs and very reachable by text. If possible, we'd love to return to the property again in the future.

Beautiful property, very clean, comfortable and very well equipped

We had the great fortune of being the first people to stay in this newly remodeled home. The owners have literally thought of everything. This is by far the most well-appointed vacation rental we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at many across the globe. The kitchen is completely outfitted with a full complement of All-Clad cookware capable of preparing a thanksgiving feast (including a roasting pan/rack, multiple cooking sheets/trays, every imaginable pot and pan). Enjoy a glass of wine in any of the provided Reidel wine glasses (red, white, and champagne). Need a slow cooker that also makes rice, how about just a rice cooker, maybe you need a coffee pot - there are actually two, plus a Keurig, plus an electric tea kettle. You get the idea. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen. It is an epicurean delight. We never ate out; the house was just too well appointed and comfortable for us to leave. If you've never been to Northstar - it has been a while for us, this property is located within the resort grounds. We had read some negative stories about the traffic getting to Northstar, full parking lots and the general hassle of getting to the mountain - it does not exist when you stay here! This means there is a shuttle dedicated to the resort residence properties that you summon from an app, that will stop at your driveway and take you anywhere within the resort grounds. Once done with Skiing (we were there in February), the shuttle returns you directly to your front door. It's all gratis and part of the resort living atmosphere that this house provides. Once home we hung our gear in the appropriate places in the garage and took off our boots in the heated mud room. It couldn't be easier. We were two families of 4 with teenagers and we were all able to leave and come back independently based on our individual needs and feelings that day. There was no waiting to load up everyone on different time frames or sleep schedules. It's the equivalent of ski-in-ski-out without the hassle of the village crowds just outside the front door. Back home' after skiing, for us adults it was likely a glass of wine (back to the Reidel) and a request to Alexa to play whatever we wanted - there is a full amazon music account just for the house - and there is an Alexa in every room along with Sonos throughout. In fact, there is a TV in every bedroom, living room, game room/pub etc. Again, we wanted for nothing. Beds are cozy and the 8 of us had more than enough room. We all loved the blinds which open and close with the click of a button and are found throughout the house. There is nothing like waking up and opening the blinds remotely from the comfort of your bed to reveal a forest of snow-covered pines. It was the first tell of a great day ahead. Book this home if you enjoy convenience and appreciate quality. Side note: We used black tie for our ski equip rental. They came to the house and outfitted all of us within 30 mins and picked up the equipment when finished. Excellent service, great equipment including demos and was less expensive than the resort - book ahead. We also rented a car from Reno airport but didn't need it (given the availability of the private shuttles). We only used the car for the 10 min drive to the grocery store upon arrival and to take our overflow trash to the main trash area. Next time we'll book a r/t shuttle from the airport and have our groceries (and our equipment) delivered.
