My family and I spent the most amazing 4 days here. Everything was on point, from communication, early checking in, baby gates and high chair, down to soft cozy blankets, and a beautiful back yard. We truly enjoyed every single second during our stay and plan to make it an annual trip. Thank you! Sophia
Creekside Lodge is a great place for a couple of families to enjoy. There are a lot of stairs so smaller kids might not be the best fit but the beds, kitchen and space as well as location make for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. We had plenty of propane for the fire pit and BBQ. There were a few old dog poops but we sort of expected that since not everyone is 100% on top of that and it comes with renting a dog OK cabin. The route down to the creek is a little steep, and a safety concern for some people, so this is one reason for 4 stars. If the owner could make it a little easier to get down there, I'd give it 5/5. The only other issue is the neighbor's dog that is left out all night and barks to be let in. Since we have a dog, it did not bother us a lot, but hopefully someone will talk to them about letting the dog into the home at nights, or at least in the garage. The creek was awesome and for us the place was great.
It has a great big drive way area which is helpful on the busy Hywy and for the number of people we had. The house has a great backyard area and a bonus room downstairs. the best part is it has 4 toilets. The main floor with the kitchen, dinning are and living area was a wonderful layout. Beds were comfy and the bright room with its view of the creek was very relaxing. We arrived a bit early and just wanted to see the place. When we came back at 4 pm the person was still cleaning and left about 10 to 15 minutes later. I would prefer a 3 o'clock check in and an 11 am check outcome.
We didn't end up staying at this place as there were issues with the hot water but the hosts were great in getting another place! Super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Pictures are a good representation of the place and it was clean. The house was a little breezy. I would definitely recommend and any of their other properties!
