Cazadero, California
Seventeen Sequoias is a hidden oasis on Austin Creek. A gardener's sanctuary with an orchard of more than a dozen mature fruit trees including multiple types of apples, three kinds of plums, an Asian pear apple, D'Anjou pear, figs, peach, persimmons, quince and kiwi vines - as well as an area of raised garden beds and an abundance of blackberries. Flowering bulbs, hydrangeas, and extensive succulent gardens mingle between the 17+ ancient redwood trees including several fairy rings. Garden paths wind amid the plantings and natives that also host hummingbirds, butterflies and other wildlife. Explore and experience this 1 acre property as it transforms through the seasons. In fair weather, bring your water wings, floaties, and water shoes to float or walk in the creek - skipping stones and, if you're lucky, watching otters!
Your retreat at Seventeen Sequoias extends into the recently remodeled house as a place to relax and recharge any time of year. Play board games in front of the living room fireplace or catch up on movies, snuggling on the extra-long leather sofa and comfy chairs. The refreshed kitchen boasts a fantastic amount of counter space, cabinets well-stocked with pots, pans and kitchen tools, and stainless steel appliances including a Jenn-Air range. You may not want to leave to explore the excellent restaurants in Duncan's Mills or nearby Jenner, but if you do, you'll love returning to Seventeen Sequoias!
Adjacent to the spacious master bedroom is the custom built bathroom. The shower is tiled with cut river rock, ceramic and glass tiles. While we hope you don't need it, the second bedroom doubles as a home office. Fold the Queen Murphy bed up and out of the way, plug in your laptop and get some work done and go back to playing! Lastly, in a creative turn, the laundry room is also a sleeping nook! A single twin bed cozies in with a privacy curtain.

This was a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the amenities. Could not ask for anything more. Seems everything was furnished. The owners have some expensive things in the house. Our week was expensive. Many drawers were locked. Guess they did not want people stealing whatever was in those locked drawers...even after paying a lot of money to stay there for a week. Not trusting type owners.
We had a wonderful weekend in Cazadero, spent hours hanging out on the beautiful creek, under the redwoods catching up with old friends. This house was perfect and we had the best nights sleep we had all had in months!
Beautiful property so peaceful! Our dogs loved running around! The Queen size bed was very comfortable. Definitely would recommend! Joe, and Laura
This was an absolutely beautiful property, and the home was clean and inviting. Everything was easily found (love the labeled drawers!) and the instructions for our stay there was very clear. The master bed was very comfortable as well. We loved our stay here so much, and we will definitely be returning here for future getaways!
A quiet house on a long, private driveway. Plenty of room in the house, with even more outdoor livable space. Enjoyed using the fire pit for some smores and warmth. Easy access to Austin Creek a great bonus.
This is a beautiful property. Tastefully appointed with a very well stocked kitchen and the 1 acre fenced in yard looks like a Monet painting. The are fruit trees that were bearing all kinds of fruit ripe for the picking. We had such a relaxing vacation.
1375 Austin Creek is the perfect place to unwind and soak up all the beauty of this beautiful part of Northern California.
Loved the property! Fully fenced for kids and dog to run and explore. Nature all around, will definitely be back!
We stayed here for 3 nights. The property and house were exactly as described. Well stocked kitchen that allowed us to have our meals here and we didn't have to buy any other supplies other than our food items. It was a very clean home and the location is nice and quiet. We would definitely come back again.
Had an excellent stay at Seventeen Sequoia's. The property has been recently updated with a very nice kitchen and appliances, new bathroom, and new windows. The outside area has a newer Weber gas grill with a full propane tank and a full reserve. There was also very fast internet which is a must for our family. The location is easy to find, very quiet and has access to Austin Creek. There is also an area in the back of the property with chairs and fire pit...nice place to kick back and relax. We had a minor issue where the key code did not work upon our arrival. It turned out to be no big deal. I mention it because we arrived after hours and thought we were in for hassle. We called the management company's number, left a message and within minutes received a return call. They were able to correct the code remotely and all was good. I always rate company on how well they handle problems and in this case they get an A+. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
