Eagle Crest never disappoints, and this was the prefect place for a girls weekend to see the quilt show. The sound of the running stream, watching a mama duck and her babies, drinks in the patio. Sad that we didn’t have time to sit in the crystal clear spa.
If you are looking for a relaxing environment with green grass, birds chirping in the morning, the sound of a small river in the background all at a beautiful home, this is the spot. From that perspective, we loved our stay. Were things got disappointing for us were the lack of attention to some of the amenities provided. 1) The hot tub water was a little on the murky side, there was a brownish film along the water level and there was no oder suggesting that the water was chlorinated. We pulled the chlorine floater and found that there was no tablets inside. We called the next morning and were told that maintenance would be contacting us to make arrangements to resolve the issue. This was around 11:30am. 7 hours had gone by and no call. Out of curiosity, went and pulled the cover of the hot tub and found that chlorine tablets were now in the floater. No call, no communication. I don't own a pool or a hot tub myself so I am no expert in what a few chlorine tablets can do to non chlorinated, murky water that has left a brown residue at the water line. From what I could see, nothing. Now we just had chlorinated murky water with the same brown residue. Very disappointed. 2) TV.........we were not there to watch a bunch of tv but during the evening hours and time to wind down, our tv experience was terrible. Everything functions and is dependent on WiFi. Is was spotty every night and the last night, it went out and never returned. We had to use the hotspot on our phone to finish a movie we were watching on Netflix. This kind ties into the hot tub. This is wind down time and the two basic offered amenities for that were not available to us. 3) In my personal opinion and as a suggestion, if you are going to offer a bbq as an amenity, please have tin foil available or advise to bring some. 4) Same thing with the coffee maker. Now, I understand that everyone has their own preference of coffee so I am not suggesting to have some available but a mention of a coffee makers being available and to bring your own coffee would be helpful to those that do not want to drive all the way into town just to get coffee. This is a very beautiful home and the peace and quiet was exactly what we wanted but the hot tub scenario and tv situation cause a level of frustration that we did not appreciate. That is my fair and honest review.
Very clean, nice place.
This place was great. Very clean. Just as advertised. Very close to the pickball courts and pool. Would stay again
When I arrived the house was not clean. The sheets were not put on the beds and the counters were messy. it had looked like they were in a rush to get out of there, and forgot to finish up last minute things. And then the instructions (hypocritically) stated “to strip the beds of sheets and throw them in wash, and then throw towels in as well, as well as loading dishes in the dishwasher” and although usually id be fine to clean up but im on vacation and i didnt pay a bunch of money for me to walk in to a dirty house and then leave with me having to clean it. I wont use vacasa again because of this.
This was the perfect spot for us. We enjoy our trips to Eagle Crest each time we come. This condo was wonderful. And the hot tub was a much needed bonus. We will be back.
