Creek front within 1/2 mile of Big Snowbird Creek and no neighbors

Absolutely perfect for a quiet stay in the mountains on a beautiful creek. Start a fire and gaze at the infinite space above while standing next to the creek at night. Wake up in the morning have a cup on the back porch to the creek sounds and rushing waters. Take a drive anywhere and you will be amazed how around every few turns there is something new and delightful to see. Just non-stop untouched earth. You dont even need an itinerary.. trust. Completely grounding if youre coming from the city or a tourist destination like Ft Myers, FL. Unmatched serenity and terrain around every corner. It was so nice to come home to Bessie's after a long day out and relax by the fire and babbling creek... just amazing. There are no pictures I could take that would do this place justice. Just minutes from beautiful vistas, rivers, lakes, mountains and trails and lookoffs. Non-Stop eye candy and wonder. The host was very responsive and kind. We stayed in late November so the weather was 50s-60s during the day and 40's 30s at night. 10 to 20 degrees cooler up in the Smoky's. Dont forget to grab some newspapers and maybe a couple starter logs as the climate was very moist in the evenings and mornings. It will make getting a fire going a bit easier. The fire wood was dry and plentyful. Everything was Perfect! We will be back and thats a promise. Thank You so much, Michael and Joyce.

Quaint and clean. I am originally from this area and knew its location. It was just what i was looking for. Remote and no neighbors within line of sight.

Bessie's place was amazing...the inside was a little quirky but it's an old house. The back porch and private yard with a creek are so relaxing! It rained most of the days we were there but I sat on the back porch and listened to the rain and creek it was great. We will be staying here again!

This is our second time at Bessie's and we enjoyed it just as much as our first! The cabin is quiet, cozy, and the river out back is so relaxing to sit beside. The owners make sure it's well stocked with anything you might need.

This place is so special! Thank you for letting us stay. The creek was so much fun. The house had everything we needed, plus some. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the area and all the cool spots to explore, hike, and swim. It was awesome!

Excellent quiet property with no visable neighbors, nice size stream loaded with large rainbow trout, house was a decent size and cozy with an excellent fire pit and charcoal grill outback, owners were freindly and gave helpful advice about the area and fishing techniques for the area 5 stars

Had a Great Stay, beautiful peaceful piece of property, Kitchen well equipped.

We chose this property AGAIN because we loved the cozy homelike feel. Also we loved the quietness of it. We live off of a busy street and constantly hear traffic and sirens 24/7. The only thing you hear here is the lovely sounds of the creek. We hughly recommend this property!

The house was charming and very clean. The owners thought of everything you might need for a fun and relaxing stay. I was traveling alone, but would also recommend this property for families with children of any age. The kitchen is especially well stocked. Little Snowbird is a one of a kind place, and Little Snowbird Creek is gorgeous and will heal your heart.

The property was beautiful and has a creek running the entire length. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor grill immensely. If you are looking for something off the beaten path this place is great!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time here! With the large yard and creek in the back there was plenty of room for the kids to play and explore. The home was very clean and cozy.

I booked this property as part of a weekend getaway for my husband. He loves to fish and we had to cancel his birthday trip earlier in the year so I wanted to do something for him. So I sent him on a solo weekend trip to the area. He loved this home. He loved the creek and he has talked about the owners, the house, and the area non-stop since he has come home. I keep hearing “when can we both go? I want you to go there too!” Thank you so much to the hosts. The communication was superb and we can’t wait to book again soon!

This cute little house reminds me of my grandmother's house.When you walk through the door you get that warm welcome feeling. There's nothing in the house that you could possibly want for. It's just cute and cozy. The owner Michael is so friendly. It was such a pleasure to talk with him. Any questions I had he was right there to answer them. The outside was exactly as described. There are no neighbors to be seen. Best description I could give is peaceful from the sound of the creek rushing by. And from the outside there was nothing you could want either. I have stayed in many places and this is truly a little piece of paradise. I cannot wait to come back and stay again . Thank you Michael for sharing your piece of heaven with us!!
