Kim and Ian are genuinely lovely hosts who made my stay a truly amazing experience. They are easy to communicate with and go above and beyond with special touches to make your stay even more enjoyable. I stayed in Creek Cottage and listening to the sound of the creek as you go to sleep and eat breakfast out on the deck is a real treat. The balcony is a great space to catch the sun, relax and unwind. The bath was my absolute favourite thing! The cottage was immaculate, well appointed with all that you need, comfy king size bed, full kitchen and even luxurious body products. Cannot recommend Creek Cottage highly enough! Thank you Ian and Kim, I didn’t want to leave!

Amazing getaway retreat for couples and the hosts are very generous and thoughtful, would highly recommend.

Creek Cottage was the ultimate romantic escape. A beautiful space. We loved the peaceful sound of the creek at the back of the property, the gas fire kept us cosy, and the morning sunshine coming through the kitchen windows was so lovely. Such a delightful property. We’ll be back!

Attention to detail in all areas has not been forgotten 💕 Quality inclusions of Leura’s own ikou products, continental breakfast gourmet teas & coffee, new socks for the stay, they will arrange massages/facials for you, cheese/antipasto plates, so clean & fresh (only approx a year old) beautiful peaceful surroundings, king bed, linen lovely, decor beautiful & light, running creek behind the cottage, & super hosts Kim & Ian who provide fresh flowers & fresh herbs from their garden for your G & T’s 😉 Highly recommend this one! Will return again!

I organised a three-night stay for myself and my long-distance partner, and we were both deeply impressed with the space and homely touches that were left for us. There was a fresh loaf of bread and muffins, fresh fruit, a 1L bottle of milk and plenty of choice of tea and ground coffee available. The heater is very effective and keeps the space at a cozy temperature. Any expectations we had were exceeded, and we will definitely be coming back for future mountain getaways.

Lovely cottage fully equipped

Fantastic stay! First, our hosts, Kim and Ian, went out of their way to ensure a memorable stay. The cottage had everything we needed, and was blissfully serene. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this one was among the best.

Our experience was very good indeed. We had a great stay. As it was a fair walk to the cafes/restaurants in Leura town centre we took the car to stock up with groceries and enjoyed cooking for ourselves throughout our stay - the cottage was SO well equipped and such a wonderfully peaceful place to be. We would definitely stay at Creek Cottage again!

A beautiful place for a stay in the Blue Mountains. We stayed here after our wedding and couldn’t be happier. Hosts are super friendly and respond quickly to any questions you may have. Property itself is super clean and has all the amenities you could need, including a tasty breakfast and loads of local recommendations! Would definitely visit the Creek Cottage again when in the Blue Mountains!

beautiful property / great location

My husband and I booked this property for a weekend getaway for our first wedding anniversary. Our communication with Kim and Ian was so easy, they are such great hosts. We ordered the winter warmer package for the night we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious. It saved us stopping for fast food on the way or rushing to have a late dinner, as we made our way there after work. The location was great and it was easy to get around the Blue Mountains. It was lovely to sit out on the veranda and listen to the birds and the creek flow. The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. We loved the high ceilings. There were so many little touches to the property, that made it the best property I have stayed at, from the fresh fruit and chocolate to the fresh loaf of bread, and the lovely hand written note congratulating us on our anniversary. I cannot recommend booking this property enough. Thank you Kim and Ian for making our first anniversary so lovely. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the Blue Mountains.

Well appointed and comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful Blue Mountains. The breakfast supplies were lovely.

We had a lovely cozy stay in this very comfortable and tastefully decorated cottage. Lots of thoughtful treats, and every consideration to keep us warm was provided - good heating, floor heating in the bathroom, heater and electric blankets in the bedroom, and heated towel rail (certainly more thought given to this than other places we’ve stayed). We would definitely choose to stay here if ever we visit the blue mountains again.

I was looking for an ideal place to relax, drink wine and stay warm on our romantic winter getaway ...and the cottage was way more than what I'd hoped. Clean, crisp, cozy and spacious at the same time. The photos are 100% accurate and I will never forget the perfume from the daphne growing beside the cottage. My girlfriend thought it was the most romantic getaway which made me so happy.

Exactly as is shown - a wonderful couple of nights stay,Kim ensured we were very comfortable with all the extras to make the cottage perfect. Warm & cosy inside. The bath is luxurious, perfect to relax & soak in. Kim was very generous with a fabulous grazing platter to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Kim & Ian were terrific hosts and couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we arrived. This include many little welcome gifts to give it that homely touch. The property is probably even better than it reads and we couldn’t have been happier there. Location was great for all things we needed and wanted to do in Blue Mountains. The bonus of Foxtel, smart tv and wifi was great. Comfortable beds and lounges with plenty of blankets, fire place and bathroom floor heating. Kitchen is fully equipped and a bbq on the deck. We had such a great time and already are planning to return with friends. You wont be disappointed when you stay here!

From the homemade muffins, to the electric blanket on the bed....and from listening to the morning birdsong on the sunny veranda, to being able to cook a storm in the well equipped kitchen after long walks in the surrounding countryside. It was simply perfect and everything you need to enjoy nature, fill your cup up and spend quality time with the person you love in such a remarkable place.

beautiful little cottage in idyllic forest setting with its own babbling brook.everything just schmick- they've thought of it all- clean, nicely furnished, cosy with gas heater, A/C and all mod cons.fridge, freezer, microwave, cooktop, oven and well supplied with the little things; milk, S&P, condiments, etc. etc. a little extra: hot X buns, bread and chocciescold and rainy when we were there which made this cosy little retreat even more welcome Highly recommended

We had the most wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. The cottage is absolutely stunning and set in a beautiful garden with a little stream. There were some lovely welcoming touches and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. It is a short walk into Leura village where there are some great shops, cafes and restaurants.Cannot recommend highly enough!

A beautifully and tastefully-furnished cottage that had everything you'd need. The thoughtful provisions including a box of exquisite chocolates made us feel so welcome. Thank you for your lovely accommodation! It's probably one of the best we've experienced, in all the countries we've visited!

We had three nights at Creek Cottage. The cottage was comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The decor was tasteful and felt relaxed, cosy and tranquil. Light and ventilation was excellent and it was delightfully quiet. We appreciated the full size stove, generous bath and underfloor heating in the bathroom, and the king size bed. Ideal self contained accommodation for a short or long stay. cooktop and

Creek Cottage was exactly as described. The cottage is in a wonderful natural setting. We loved the sound of the gentle water flow along the creek and the numerous birds who actively relish the natural environment. So many shades of green - makes for a wonderful outlook, especially from the back patio.We loved our stay, albeit would have liked to spend more time.

Absolutely stunning. Clearly much thought has gone into the decoration. It was lovely to see local products featured. Every anticipated want was satisfied. Lots of special touches that show genuine care and attention to detail. Very tranquil setting listening to the babbling brooks and the birds absolutely would recommend

The cottage was an absolute delight. Everything imaginable was provided. Very clean, well organised and generous in space. Cooking (and BBQ) facilities excellent. Clothes washer and dryer and iron available. Delightful decor and very comfortable. On the fringe of Leura close to nature, but only a short drive to the shops, restaurants and train station. Not far from the walks and view lookouts. Hosts Kim and Ian were very helpful.

Nestled in a quiet valley, the loudest noise is the babbling brook. The large balcony is perfect for reading or enjoying a cuppa or drink. The living area is large, bright and breezy with the kitchen well stocked with essential utensils to make the most of the best stove range, with the cleanup made easy via a dishwasher. The bed is cofortable, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The little things were also catered for, with shaver/sewing kit. I couldn't think of anything that was lacking

A hidden gem in the heart of Leura. Looks better than the incredible pictures. It is quiet, peaceful and picturesque. The 5 star inclusions made all the difference. We will be coming back to stay in the cooler months. Lovely hosts, you couldn’t ask for a better stay.

This property was very clean. And also close to Three sisters(about 10 minutes to drive) . It is also very nice that this is located quite place. Only one thing let me feel bad was weather. But this is not due to property.

We had a lovely, relaxing mini break at Creeks Cottage. The place is well cared for. Lots of thoughtful little touches. Slightly quirky layout - the entrance to the bedroom is in the bathroom. Great location and private. We loved our stay.

This is a well-equipped cottage with a great lounge area overlooking the creek and very comfortable bed. It is well heated and a great place to retreat to after a busy day exploring the Blue Mountains area. It is also located in a very quiet part of Leura even though it's no more than a 5-minute drive to Leura's main street and the Great Western Highway.

As per other reviews Creek Cottage is exceptional in so many ways. So clean and a beautiful quiet location to relax and unwind. Personal touchs are lovely, such as chocs on bed, muffins and bread waiting for us are just a few which made a difference when arriving. Thank you! Would highly recommend. Though we only stayed for two nights, we are looking forward to returning for seven nights over Christmas. Thank you Kim.
