Cozy Treehouse 2-bedroom cabin in beautiful 4-season Massanutten Resort

The house was the perfect size for my small family. The host had lots of little touches that made you feel right at home including an awesome snack tray that won my daughter over. The location was absolutely perfect for us for a quick ski getaway. As an older house, it did get quite chilly when experiencing colder than normal temperatures outside but they were plenty of warm, inviting blankets to curl up with.

My husband and I had a great time on our mini getaway! The cabin was perfect! The host was amazing!

The cabin was well stocked....even had snacks for had snacks for us to enjoy....kids had games. Enjoyed the hot tub both in the morning and the evening.

Very small, outdated, smells old and dusty, no yard, handyman workmanship.

We checked in and the code wouldn't work, I called the owner they answered on the first ring and fixed our issue and we were able to check in. House was very cute and clean. We didn't have towels or sheets on the beds, and the hot tub was low, after contacting the owner they fixed the issue right away sending the cleaning crew and everything was great after that. I really appreciated the communication, as I understand the owner isn't on the property. My husband and two son's and I had a great time. It's very close to the recreationay pool, it cost much less than the water park, we did go one day and it was amazing. The water park was a little over priced but fun. There was a little country store right down the road so that's very convenient. There is a little park with a creek, my kids played in it for hours, and that's free. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway for my family!

Great stay! Everything was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The property was as advertised. Mostly clean. The rugs are a little sketchy without skidguards though.Overall, a nice stay!

Had a great time. The place was clean, nice, and comfortable. Everything was easy to find. The only unfortunate thing was that both the hot tub and fireplace were not working, which would have been nice to use since it was chilly outside.

Stay was Terrible.1. Cabin was not clean.2. Stove did not function properly.3. Sliding glass door does not open properly.4.Hot Tub was NOT NEW. Hot tub was small, dirty, and the water level was low.5. Washing machine is NOT NEW. it never worked.6. Fireplace doesnt work.7. The TV stopped working.8. Maintenance advised us there was a water leak in the cabin.9. Everyone in our family was sick within 24 hours of entering the cabin. 2 of us ended up in the ER.The owner is blaming the illness on allergy season. I would serious consider alternative lodging options. The owners would only refund us 100.00 dollars.

The cabin was perfect. Everything was labeled clearly(light switches, kitchen items etc.). It was super clean and comfortable. The owners were awesome to deal with, communication could not have been better. Will definitely book again in the future. Thank you!!

Everything was great! Except the sliding glass door to get to the hot tub was off the track. We only got to use it once in fear we wouldn’t be able to shut the door. The hot tub also had a lot of chlorine in it. It bleached my husbands shorts and we both had chunks of chlorine on us in places it should never be. Aside from this, it had everything we needed, the location is great, and the host responds very quickly! It was a home away from home for sure.

We stayed here so we could be close to our daughter @ JMU for Family Weekend. Go Dukes! This “treehouse cabin” is exactly as described & shown in the pictures. It’s very clean & well decorated, very warm & welcoming. The hosts have thought of everything you could need for a stay at the cabin. It’s a winding scenic route to get there, and nestled comfortably in the trees. We even had a visit from a deer couple (buck & doe)! Thank you for everything!

The property was exactly what we were looking for; close to good hiking, quiet, relaxing and clean! The owners’ communication was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin to stay in near Shenandoah.

Pros: House was extremely clean and nice. Everything labeled for easy access. A lot of attractions were within walking distance which was nice. Cons: The kitchen windows do not have blinds/curtains, so you can see into the house from the parking lot. This included the hallways, kitchen, and living area. The second room with the bunk bed does not have AC. If the door is left open, it can cool off. For us, we needed it closed for our toddler to block noise. Also, the top bunk is less than a foot from the fan, so you have to be extremely careful not to hit your head or if a kid is sleeping up there it could be dangerous. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Great spot for a family getaway to Massanutten. Everything you need and walkable to base of mountain and family adventure park. Property managers very responsive
