Cozy Tahoe Vista home with fireplace, furnished deck, & forest view

The driveway was completely iced over. We could not enter the garage. They told us to use the salt in the garage so it then took an hour to get the 1 car in the garage. The garage is very small so the other cars had to be stacked in the driveway. We spent way too much time juggling cars around. This property needs snow removal maintenance and shouldn't leave snow shoveling up to the renters! The property is very nice inside, well stocked and we enjoyed our stay but the driveway issue was really a problem.

There are numerous trails for hiking and biking, and we even discovered a picturesque stream nearby where the kids loved to play. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and provided us with all the necessary information to make our stay comfortable. They have clearly put a lot of thought into making this cabin a welcoming retreat, and it shows in the attention to detail throughout the property. Overall, our stay at this forest cabin was a delightful experience. It's a perfect spot for a small family to relax, explore nature, and create lasting memories.
