Cozy- Stylish 2 bd with fenced in back yard w/ Firepit

Overall, it was a lovely stay. I thought the place was pretty much as advertised. The beds were comfy. The neighborhood was quiet. Not walking distance to restaurants and shopping, but definitely close to local parks and perfect for what I needed for my extended three week stay. Christine was excellent at communicating. I did give her some ideas for outfitting her kitchen. My only other comments would be that it’s time for a bathroom update and some deep cleaning with more attention to the front and back exterior conditions to make for a 5star perfect stay.

We were going to a show in Ferndale on Friday and then I was staying on to explore Detroit leaving on Sunday. As soon as I opened the door I could tell it has always been kept clean because there were no odors. No overly bleached or air freshener odors (the back area smelled like dog but that’s not even close to a deal breaker for me).The beds were very comfy and the bedding was so nice! Hot water & pressure. This is a cute, little home minutes from downtown Ferndale and the perfect distance to meander your way through the different neighborhoods and really explore Detroit. Make your map app avoid highways!As a single woman traveler I did not feel uncomfortable or unsafe either. If you absolutely must park off street the spot is small and short so you aren’t getting a big vehicle in there. Excellent communication from the host. I could only imagine if I had needed anything she would be on top of it.

This was by far the best home I’ve ever stayed in on this site & others! I truly felt at home and was so grateful. I needed somewhere to stay while dealing with a basement flood situation, a cozy space with a hot shower. This place beyond exceeded that! The best vibes, and immaculate style. Thoughtfully put together with everything you need and more! Also thankful for the host, a very kind person! Meant a lot during my stressful time. Loved the backyard too, such an awesome space with the perfect amount of sun! Really needed that relaxing outside. Great location, easy to find, close to everything, friendly area too! 10/10 I left very refreshed!!

Christine’s place was perfect for our weekend stay. We were able to easily uber to downtown Detroit and were super close to great shops and restaurants in ferndale. The neighborhood is cute and quiet and the fenced in backyard space is a big bonus. Parking is a little tricky due to the layout of the streets in the neighborhood but we figured it out pretty quickly. The house itself is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

We came here for a concert in Detroit. The location was great and not too far from the city! We enjoyed staying here! We also appreciated the property being pet friendly so we could bring our dog on our trip with us! Definitely recommend this property.

Kids and I had a fantastic time. Everything was great. Looking forward to a return visit!

This property is exactly as described. Highly recommend. A cozy cottage in a working class neighborhood. Quiet. Peaceful. Close to I-75 for adventures downtown or exploring the many restaurants and shops in Ferndale. The bed was so so comfy! ?❤️This place has everything you need, and nothing you don’t.

A very nice alternative to the local hotels, especially if you like a little extra space and separate bedrooms for family members or friends. One suggestion: it was a little difficult to see the house number at night.

My bucket list is to visit all 30 MLB Ballparks preferably when the Philles are playing. Our stay in this cozy home was everything we anticipated and more. House was very nice with updated kitchen, original hardwood floors and 2 spacious bedrooms with super comfy beds. Location was quiet, but walking distance to several nice restaurants. With a fenced in backyard for our dog, and a short Uber ride to Comerica Park to see a baseball game we couldn't have made a better choice. Check in with Christine was so easy and she truly made our stay a 5 star experience. If you are looking to visit the Detroit Metro area, you need to stay here.

The property was great. The weather limited what we could do.

We loved this beautiful home. We enjoyed a fire and cooked out. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Our dog enjoyed being able to roam the fenced in yard. Very clean as well. Thank you for a great stay!

Check in was easy, house is cozy and quaint. Beautifully updated kitchen, but still some original unique touches. The board games were a big hit with my daughter and she loved the fenced-in back yard.
