There are plenty of hiking trails located nearby with a short walk to River access. 7 min drive to downtown Duncan. Take in the Market on Saturdays located in the downtown area with local artisans or tour the Totems. Take a 20 min drive North to see the Chemainus Murals. Some nights, you can hear the peaceful sound of the resident Owls.

Stayed Aug 24, 2025My only complaint would be that it was very warm and windows could not open (old house, painted shut) and there was only one working fan. It would be nice to have a fan in everyone and windows that can open.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025This was a very clean and well equipped cottage. Spacious for our family. Convenient for Duncan centre. It feels retro and quite basic, but is a good base for exploring this area.
