Cozy quiet retreat house 2 bedrooms, 1 bath

Everything was great with the place itself. Shower is very small though. Wish we knew the place was on someone's property right next to them as we like total privacy.

The location was fantastic. Secluded enough but close enough to food and fun. The host was very slow at responding to emails. Information about check in was very last minute. Did not answer all my questions that I emailed. And the phone number listed in VRBO did not belong to the current host.The place was ok. We’ve definitely stayed in better, but it served the purpose. The shower is awful!!! 2’x2’. When you have claustrophobic tendencies, this shower is a trigger. And the shower curtain liner had mildew stains and the curtain itself had nasty build up on the bottom. And you couldn’t even get the curtain shut all the way. The mirror in the bathroom is low.The temperature was difficult to keep consistent. It was surprisingly cold in the open area but would get super hot in the bedroom. Pretty wooded area behind the property. To improve this VRBO, it would be nice if it had a dishwasher. The size of the kitchen does not permit that. It just would be nice because the pans and utensils were not very clean. We had to clean everything before we used it. No ice machine or ice trays in the freezer. We had to go buy a bag. The mattresses are very hard. Investing in a mattress that isn’t direct coils would be better. It was like sleeping directly on a box spring. The closet in the downstairs bedroom isn’t finished. Not a big deal to us, but that would improve the place. Some mudding and paint goes a long way. It was affordable. But you get what you pay for.

We loved the cozy home for our 7-day stay. The property is tucked into a peaceful and beautiful yard and driveway away from the street. The home has a deck that was wonderful to sit on and enjoy the outdoors. However, in need of a patio chairs and a bbq would be bonus. The home had everything we needed including plenty of towels and kitchenware. The coffee and hot chocolate bar was used daily and appreciated!! Thank you so much for having us at your property! Highly recommend.

It was very clean and convenient

This was my first difficult communication experience with STRs, I could not get the host to clearly state that meeting at check-in was a requirement, the check in process stated we prefer to meet, after repeatedly trying to get clarification, the host cancelled the booking the day of check-in and I had to take that as an answer. I thought it was a silly amount of back and forth and hassle to get a simple direct answer so that I could plan accordingly.

We were very pleased and would stay here again! The host was super friendly and helpful. She also communicated with us and answered any concerns or questions asap . The property was very clean and we really enjoyed our time . Thank you!

Great place for our short stay.

Great place to get away after a day out. Everything we needed to enjoy our time. Would recommend. Only recommendation would be to improve the bed.

A great stay! Excellent communication with the host!

Place was beautiful and clean. We were nervous to find it was a converted garage that is close to the main house. But the inside of the home and cleanliness surpassed any indifferences. Unfortunately the only thing keeping me from giving this a full 5 stars is the bed in the master. The mattress was too soft for our liking, but the chief complaint is the bed frame. It is incredibly squeaky and impossible to share when one is a restless sleeper. Besides that, it was an excellent stay.
