Cozy Oceanfront Cottage with Lovely Ocean Views!

The house is so tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and quiet. There are no neighbors on either side of the house and you can't beat the direct beach access. The hosts are great to work with and very responsive when issues arise.

Beautifully renovated older cottage. Short walk over dune to beach. Great views. Excellent finishings and dishes/appliances. If you want oceanfront and small, not much better than this one. Good for 4 adults. After that, it gets crowded as you might expect.

Kim and Mark are great. They offer well maintained cottages right on the beach.

We had a great time! The house was clean, exactly like the pictures and the owners were so nice and helpful! Super easy check in and out! The only small thing we didn’t like was how busy the road was…cars fly up and down that road! Saying that though, we would definitely stay here again..we would just be a little more prepared for the busyness of the road!

Super cute cottage in the dunes with a sailor theme. Beach was not crowded which was nice. Might be too small for two families as the main room is somewhat small but overall really nice place.

My husband and I had a great time. The cottage is very cute and clean,Great views. we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back.

We both just retired. On an open ended date driving trip. Anchored down here for a week to relax. Could not have been better…. with beach right out the back door. Nicely located so we could access other parts of the outer banks and activities easily. Missing it already.

Beautiful fall week in the upper 70's. Cottage clean and cozy, great location, right on the beach nestled on 3 sides by sand dunes but nice ocean views.

This was perfect for two people and a dog. Wouldn't want to try it with more people since only one bathroom and overall very small. Fairly modern, had pretty much everything we needed for a nice stay. Manager responded promptly when we had an issue with the TV (my problem). Very easy beach access. My only complaint is the low water pressure in the shower. Would rent this one again.

This was our third year staying in the sweet tea cottage. As always communication with Kim was timely and detailed. This was our first time bringing our dogs and we were pleasantly surprised to find dog bowls setting out to welcome them. It's the small personal touches and communication that keep us coming back.

It was EXACTLY as seen in the pictures. When ever I had thought of a cottage on the beach…this house was what I had always dreamed of! Oceanfront with privacy because there was a slight dune separating the public beach from the back porch. You can hear the lull of the ocean which I so miss back here in Indiana. It was nice to sit on that porch and look up at the stars. There was a nice surprise under the house which we discovered the second day..a very clean and private outdoor shower stall with hot and cold water!! The inside was decorated so cute and everything is up to date and worked perfectly. The bedrooms were perfect for my small family of four. The two girls got their own room and we all shared the bathroom and it worked out just fine! There were games and puzzles and books to enjoy when it was rainy. There was some beach chairs and beach things To use under the house. It was also nice to have a stackable washer and dryer for towels. We had never visited The Outer Banks but we found Kitty Hawk to be the perfect location for us. With two girls who like to shop, having a short drive to Duck was great. We enjoyed the closeness to various restaurants as well because se go out for dinner while on vacation. Getting the keys and communicating with the owners was flawless. I wished we could have stayed anither week! Just a winderful place to stay for a small family!!!❤️

Once again our family (including our dog) had an amazing time. Sweet Tea Cottage is super clean and in a great location. Everything we could have asked for!

We enjoyed our week at Sweet Tea Cottage. The house was a perfect size for our family and we loved its proximity to the beach. It was very easy to take morning and evening walks on the beach. The location is great and there are several nice restaurants nearby. Kim and Mark were fabulous hosts and very responsive. We highly recommend this property to small family groups and beach lovers and hope to be back in the future.

Nice property and great location

Nice place but if you want to easily stroll on the beach and see dolphins from the deck, this is not it. Pics in the listing from inside of the house show a view of the surf & people under their umbrellas but the actual view in 2024 is a sand dune & a sliver of the horizon. As of today, sitting on the chairs on the deck, you only see sand. You walk down the deck steps into a sand dune, then you'll have to hike up the very high steep dune with loose sand and then slide down the other side to reach a flat beach. Photos are years old, do not stay here if you have any mobility issues. Look up Kitty Hawk Beach Re-Nourishment Project 2022. I hope this can prevent others from being disappointed w their stay.

Really enjoyed the stay. The cottage is well equipped, everything is in working order, and the communication with the property managers was top notch.
