Are you looking to hike, ski, bike, experience nature and still be able to travel to Denver/Boulder You're at the right place with half an acre of land around the house.
The hiking trailhead starts right at the house with the National Forest next to the property. Enjoy living on a mountain property covered by Aspen trees.
The mountain home is perfectly located in Harris Park, Bailey on 9,100ft altitude. Less than 6o minutes to Denver and 75 minutes to Breckenridge with its great trails and ski slopes. Stargaze from the house's tower or curl up in front of the fire and enjoy a night in! The house has Starlinki internet for remote work
The three bedrooms have a total of four full XL or queen size beds. Upstairs is a very stable queen airbed. 6'5" couch in the living room.
4WD recommended in winter!
We really enjoyed the front and watch the deer at dinner every night, we love upstairs view room! Thank you so much
The House is Charming and incredibly comfortable. A quiet retreat, to either relax or have mountain adventures. It's sits on a beautiful wooded piece of land at the top of a hill. There is a great 2nd floor porch to drink coffee or a cocktail- while looking out. The beds were super comfortable. And the kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals. A fun place for families to rent with teenagers or groups of adults who love nature and want to explore the surrounding area. Probably not great for little kids who need constant supervision inside and outside the house. We went snow shoeing directly from the house! The fireplace was so nice to come home to after snow shoeing. Great proximity to the National Forest. Next time I need to bring my mountain bike! Owner was so nice and easy to work with. He describes the property perfectly!! It's exactly what we needed - peace and quiet, with easy access to so many great activities. I definitely want to come back to this house!!
The steps to the 2nd floor were so steep they were dangerous. There were no window coverings on my bedroom window which looked out on a house and RV. Only one knife and one skillet in the kitchen. One burner didn’t work. One shower door wouldn’t slide. Road was practically impossible to traverse it was so washed out. Not far from Evergreen but took a long time to get there because of how the roads worked. We dealt with it but I can’t recommend
This home was clean, offered everything needed. Very quiet location with a great hiking trail nearby and wildlife to view out the window. A great place to relax, visit Bailey for fly fishing and enjoy the mountains. The host was very easy to work with and good to communicate very promptly.
Lovely setting tucked in the aspens. So glorious. Easy to find. Easy route to trails. The host is super responsive which is cool. It feels a lot like a crash pad for skiers. Could fit a crew of friends in this spot. A little expensive for just two people. Bring toilet paper.
Michael could not have been more generous with accommodating a couple of requests. He was very good at communicating. The cabin sits adjacent to national forest, so beautiful hiking is right outside the door. My husband found friendly fishing advice in nearby Bailey. The dogs could not have been happier!
Michael was very helpful. This house is out where nothing is around. We went on walks thru the trails behind the house it was amazing ! House was cozy has a fire place that the kids loved . This is very family friendly home. Place has board games , Tv, just right for a getaway.
Great getaway for friends in this super cute cabin. The location is isolated, so it is extremely quite and beautiful. Surrounded by great trails. Michael was an awesome communicator and loved the fact he laid out a trail book and offered suggestions on what his favorite hikes are!
