I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful time that my family and I had in that beautiful place, thanks a lot Thanks
We were pleased with the property as soon as we opened the door. It was a cozy cabin with plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs was a pleasant surprise with its common area that mirrored the 1st floor. My husband broke his hip last March and he was pleased with the back entrance of one step. That made it easier for him and easier to unpack and pack the car. We had a winter storm while there and were excited with the close proximity to shopping, winery, skiing, tubing and hiking. It was a trip full of outdoor activities. The house was loaded with things you would need. Great VRBO choice!
Great
Great place. Nice central spot for Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Large bedrooms. Nicely stocked kitchen. Great TV. Owner very responsive.
Excellent!! Wonderful place!! Couldn't ask for anything more! Will be back soon.
This is the perfect spot. It’s close to everything. Very short drives. Matt is very quick to respond by email or phone. My family enjoyed our weeks stay and wished could have stayed longer.
We have been visiting the Boone, NC area for the fall festivals for 19 years. Our favorite family tradition. This cabin is the cleanest one we have stayed in! Owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend it!
This is a very cozy rustic cabin located up a holler above the Watauga River. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans and plenty of utensils. The location is very convenient to Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock, Boone, Grandfather Mtn., the Parkway, and Linville Falls to name just a few. Plenty of good eating places near by. Matt was an excellent host and responsive to our questions about things to do and places to shop. Highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway.
We had a very peaceful stay and enjoyed the cabin. I loved having coffee in the mornings on the covered porch listening to the birds. Great location for attending the Grandfather Mountain Scottish Games. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed 7 nights at the cabin. It's a cozy house in a great location. My son and I fished at the creek by the entrance. I would definitely recommend to stay at this property.
Our family of 6 and Emma our Yorkie had a wonderful week at this cabin. It was fully furnished for cooking and very comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed sitting on the very large porch. The neighborhood was quiet. The only negative was the walk to the river, it was not a walk my father could do with all his fishing gear and when he got down to the river it was not a good location for fly fishing. Just beware if you are planning to do any fishing in this area all parts of the river are posted and not open for public fishing. My husband and father went to Valle Crusis Park for trout fishing instead of fishing at the neighborhood access. This was the only disappointment with our stay. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again.
