Cozy mnt cabin centrally located in the High Country!

Host was very accommodating for our last minute reservation. Cabin was well stocked and clear direction for all house amenities.

We loved our stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful and the cabin was comfortable with enough room for a family of 4 to not trip over each other. Cara was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our family went on a weekend getaway and stayed at this cabin for two nights. Recent storms had left a lot of snow in the area, but it was obvious the roads leading up to the cabin were very well taken care of. The cabin itself was very cozy and well taken care of. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of four. The dining room take was a great place for us to gather to eat and play games while watching the Winter Olympics on TV. The cabin's heating worked great in every room and there was a stove with gas logs in the living room for added heat and ambience. The cabin is also in a great location whether you want to go to Banner Elk, Linville, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, or any of the local ski places. We went to Hawksnest Adventures, which was less than 15 minutes away, to go snow tubing...super fun! The Blue Ridge Parkway is also very close, but was closed while we were visiting. The hosts were great. The cabin was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a great cabin situated in the perfect spot to catch all the local offerings. The cabin has everything you need for a fun trip with your family or friends. I’d highly recommend. The host was communicative. The cabin was clean and updated. The hiking trail inside the neighborhood was an added bonus!

It was such a cozy, home-like feeling of a cabin and our friends with a 4 year old easily accommodated just as easy as we did with a 2 month old baby! Beautiful place to stay!

The cabin was neat & tidy. Lots of towels and bath cloths. It was in a great location. It was a little difficult getting into the driveway though. But a neighbor told us about going up the hill & turning around to make getting into the driveway easier without spinning.

Host was great with communication before arrival. Home was cozy, clean & convenient.

Our stay was great..Check in was easy..Host was very helpful..The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating is outdated master bathtub..too large and tall..a shower would be much better..but....had a really great stay.

The cozy mountain cabin is located in Banner Elk North Carolina, which is only 20 minutes from downtown Boone, which is pretty convenient for accessing activities in Boone. There was enough space for all my friends to comfortably stay. Just note that there is a gravel parking lot. My car got a bit stuck in the gravel, but was able to get it out pretty easily. The driveway to the cabin is a bit small and there is a tree root in the road. Other than that, the cabin suited our needs well and we enjoyed our stay.

Property was as advertised. Comfortable space with a stocked kitchen and dishwasher. Acess to the pool is a bonus. Communication was excellent. Check in and out were easy. We enjoyed our stay.

From the moment we walked in to the cabin it felt like home away from home. The space was wonderful for our family’s two night stay, but it would have been a great place for a longer stay too! The home has a full kitchen if you would like to cook your own meals. The front porch is peaceful and comfy to sit and drink morning coffee. It is in a nice central location to all the places we needed to go to while visiting Boone and Valle Crucis. Just down the way a couple of miles is a perfect view of the old man sleeping (Grandfather Mountain.)

This house is nestled in the Mill Ridge Resort off hwy 105 and offers tennis courts and a pool along with trails. The house was perfect for our group of 6 ages 17-66. Location is great off hwy 105 and close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Don’t miss a trip to Maw’s produce on hwy 105 in Foscoe while visiting.Hosts were always quick with a response. The weekend was wet and cold but the house was a perfect retreat! Rain on the tin roof as we were inside sipping coffee and watching TV. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very proactive with check-in details and very responsive answering any questions we had while at the cabin. Thank you for a great weekend away!

Our mountain stay was wonderful! This property was as described. It was clean and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful, will definitely book this cabin again.

This was a fantastic stay at the cleanest, cutest cabin! We attended my daughter's App State graduation and it was a quick ride to the school. The area has so much to offer,. The beds were veryyyy comfy and the whole cabin met all our needs! Highly recommend this home for your stay!

Marvelous stay. Cozy house well equiped. Did not give cleanliness highest score because property had not really been de-winterized yet meaning, still a lot of leaves and some dirt on porches. We gave it a brush :-), not a big deal. And the house was spotless. I guess it’s normal coming out of a mountain winter. The location is very good with trails in close vicinity and lot’s of options in the region. Also good grocery options not too far away so if you forget an egg that is not a problem …

Check I was easy, host checked in, everything we needed was in the cabin. We really enjoyed our weekend.

We came to watch an App State T/F meet! The location was perfect! It was off the beaten trail, but not out of the way, easy to navigate, and only a short ride to everything. The house itself was quaint and clean with plenty of room and great heating. We will totally stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. We went to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and surrounding parts. It was a very convenient drive to all the sites we wanted to see.

This is the cutest place to stay. Very clean!! We definitely will be back. Not far from the ski resorts. Loved it.

My daughter and I snuck up to this perfect little cabin for a long weekend. We have stayed here multiple times as the kids have grown and it is the perfect size for a small family. Everyone has their own space/bathroom. Super convenient to skiing, tubing, hiking and hanging in town. Cara is easy to contact and communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Weekend of football and basketball

My teen daughters and I stayed here 4 nights and used the cabin as a home base for a service project. The cabin was a comfy safe haven for us when we were none weary and sore! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, climate control was easy, and the washer and dryer were indispensable. As with all of cabin type dwellings, you will hear creaking and footsteps from upstairs to downstairs. There are two showers, but if you use both at the same time, water pressure will be weak (common in the mountains). If you can handle these small inconveniences, don't hesitate to rent this property!

As advertised

Unfortunately, due to hurricane Helene, we were unable to spend the weekend at what looked to be like an adorable cabin for family weekend visiting my daughter at App State. Carra was very communicative as the weekend unfolded. This was an extremely sad and unfortunate situation and Carra was very flexible in trying to find us other accommodations but the storm just made it impossible to stay. We will definitely try again next year!

The cabin was exactly as described a cozy atmosphere, meticulously decorated with all the convenience of home. A rustic setting in a beautiful mountain community. Host Carra was exceptional

We loved our stay to go see Land of Oz! Great location, easy to get to in a great location. Very clean and exactly like it was pictured. I will stay again! Only suggestion is a fire table out on the open deck would be great if allowed .

It was a wonderful stay .,

My family and I wanted a quick get away to take our minds off my impending surgery. Over all the place was very quaint, and clean, but parking is better for smaller cars. I had a little trouble with my big SUV but that was mostly my fault. It was a great trip and just what was needed.
