Cozy Lakeside Cottage.... with access to a private beach!

The cozy cottage was the perfect spot for us! It was so peaceful and we really enjoyed the private beach access! It was exactly what we were looking for, for our girls weekend!

Cottage was very sweet. Charming vintage decore. Very clean and well stocked. Beach was amazing! Short walk, beautiful sunsets, not crowded. Wewill book again!

Very cozy shabby chic cottage in a twist location. Easy walk to a gorgeous beach (there are stairs) with crystal clean water. The cottage has everything you may need or want and the owner Hailey is a gem!

Quick communication with owner, beautiful private beach within walking distance (does involve quite a few stairs, but it was manageable even with infants and our grandmother)— the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

Great location and access to a lovely private beach

The house was nicely appointed and very clean. The owner was very responsive to any issue we may have had. The location was great, a short walk to a private beach. Our only issue was the large ant infestation. While we were told there might be a few ants given that the neighborhood is very woodsy, which we would understand, there were not just a few but many. They were on most of the counter tops in the kitchen, in one of the bathrooms and in two of the bedrooms. We even found one in the salt shaker. Needless to say, it was disconcerting. It made a very nice place difficult to enjoy.We know the owner is addressing the issue and wish her well in trying to eradicate them.

Charming, comfortable cottage that was very clean and well appointed. We’ve rented many places in the area and we will definitely be coming back to this place when it’s available. One of the best beaches in the area and it’s not crowded like the public access beaches down the road in U.P.

The location of the cottage is fantastic. It’s a cute little cottage only about a block from the beach entrance, and having a private entrance is an added bonus! There were a couple of minor things, nothing big. Hailey was quick to respond to our concerns and rectified the problems.

The cottage was charming. Updated kitchen and bathrooms, everything you could possibly need available for your use, and great instructions and communications with host. Would definitely consider coming back to Cozy Cottage again!

My family and I stayed at The Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and just a short walk to the beach. It is also a close drive to New Buffalo. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

The home and neighborhood are lovely. Though in what feels like a safe location the area is populated and off of a main highway. Though the walk to the beach isn’t far the bike lock used for the gate was unexpected. Well worth the walk the view and beach access is just as stunning during off season.

Great location... easy walk to the beach... and quick travel to all the highlights in Union Pier, New Buffalo, and Lakeside.

We had an amazing long weekend at this cottage. The home had everything we needed for our beach time (chairs, towels, umbrella, and even a boogie board). We loved relaxing on the porch after a long day in the sand, and the quiet street was wonderful. Host was also very helpful and responsive to our questions.

This Vrbo truly lives up to its description, cozy cottage. Perfect for three friends to relax and enjoy Lake Michigan. Beautiful private beach and every kitchen utensil imaginable. The host was very responsive to every question asked before the trip and during. The outside and landscape could be spruced up a bit for curb appeal, but once inside, perfect.
