Great stay and all types of convenience. Great place to stay for some fall activities.

Well-equipped cabin for a 3-night stay. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, and the bathroom is tiny, but overall, the space works. The kitchen has everything you need. Although there is a table and chairs outside, along with a makeshift fire pit, the uncomfortable seating makes it difficult to relax.

Beautiful cottage, great setting and very relaxing. Highly recommended.

This place is perfect, private, and cozy. Two rooms with dining areas make it easy to transition between games, socializing, and meals. The beach is a short walk and a delight.

Our stay was just perfect. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and it feels like we’re nestled in the woods even though it’s a neighborhood. The walk to be beach was easy and the beach itself was clean and not crowded. We had everything we needed and then some. We were very pleased.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage is quaint and quiet -- a true retreat! The beach was beautiful and so close to the property. Our dogs loved it as much as we did! Leslie and Chris know how to take care of their guests. We will be back!

Lovely home in beautiful Lakeside, MI. The property is beautiful, nestled in the woods, and only about a two block walk to the beach. It was completely equipped with everything one needs for a beach weekend away. The owner and home keeper are amazingly friendly, timely and gracious to work with. Hope to return!

My husband, dog, and I had the pleasure of staying at blue bird cottage and it was wonderful! We loved having the whole house to ourselves. The close walk to the beach, the scenery, the peacefulness of the cottage and its location were all perfect! The owner was very kind and so accommodating. We loved the fire pit at night and relaxing on the hammock. The town, cottage, and beach are all very dog friendly and was perfect for our pup. Can’t say enough great things about this home. We hope to be able to stay again!

Great weekend!

My husband and I have been taking our golden retriever to union pier for the past four years and this cottage and location did not disappoint! It was a short 5-7 min walk to the private beach and our pup had such a great time. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness and accuracy of the listing. Definitely recommend and looking forward to booking again! Toni

We had a great time! The house was really nice and clean and not too far of a walk to the private beach! This time of year was perfect also. Not crowded and the weather was perfect. We will hopefully make this a yearly trip with our doggie❤️
