Cozy House with a fenced yard

The house had all the extra amenities you would need such as sunblock, Aloe Vera (which was a bonus since my husband’s feet were sunburned), doggie trash bags, hairdryer, great blue beach bag was a nice bonus, ice maker, and cover sheets ( I’m assuming it was for furniture, if u had a dog). The back porch was nice & they had bug spray, but you may want to bring some of your own. Plenty of different sized coolers & beach chairs. Pet friendly place with a medium crate & small dog bowl & other accessories for dog! We brought our own golf cart since it is a golf cart friendly area. getting to the beach was easy once we figured out how to get there the back way. Sixth street was the best entrance to east beach with a cart because you could park closer to the beach.

This is a charming old house in a welcoming and convenient neighborhood. The host provided many extra touches, from a wooden swing on the front porch to a chair swing on the back porch overlooking the fenced back yard and sunscreen by the front door. It was perfect for a couple and our Papillon. (There was even a kennel and other dog supplies, but we brought our own.) Although there was no room for a dishwasher, the kitchen had every other amenity we could have wanted and nice quality.

Great little house a short drive from everything on the island. I can't say enough good things about my stay. The house is super clean and cozy. Stocked with almost everything you could need. Traveled with my dog. The backyard is fenced and a nice size for them to run around. The host is super friendly and responsive. The beach is a 2.5 mile drive from the house, with restaurants and shops closer. Great quiet stay on the island. I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!

Great property! My best friend and I bought are three dogs for a weekend get away and this property was exactly what we needed. Great location, clean, fenced in yard, and lots of extras (like chairs, bikes, etc) to make the stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Property was extremely clean, well equipped with beach supplies (chairs, towels, sunscreen, aloe, bug spray, etc.) Willy responded to any questions extremely quick and is right next to the property. The bicycles all worked great. Property is very conveniently located, we were never more than 10-15 min from where we wanted to go. If we ever come back to St. Simmon’s, I’m sure this is where we’ll stay.

Easy check in. Was close to shopping stores. Close to the Pier where everyone visits. Our dog had a nice fenced backyard. We plan to stay here again. Host Willy was very easy to communicate with.

Nice location. Place looked clean. Great backyard. Dogs liked it a lot. I didn’t like the bathroom because you can not lock the door. I used the washer and dryer and they worked but dryer took a long time. Queen bed was hard.

Beautiful house just right size Wonderful property owner

We have booked rental properties for years and years; so we have visited some properties that looked as old on the inside as they do on the outside. Not so with this older cottage. The inside was upgraded / restored not long ago, and the inside was spotless when we arrived. More important, all of the amenities are newer and 1st class. We selected this rental because of the fenced yard for our 2 small dogs, and we were not disappointed. The beds, linen, towels, kitchen appliances, were 1st class. Strong 2.4G WiFi and so much more. Willy was very responsive and helpful. This really is a 10* rental.

This was a wonderful place to relax. Great location for checking out beaches and islands in the area. The host Willy was very kind, his house is very accommodating. We had our 2 srvice dogs with us and the backyard is fenced and was great for them run around in their own space. We would definitely like to return again!

My wife and I had an impromptu trip to SSI to visit our son. We booked this great little house and had a fantastic stay. We used the included bikes, took a 6-mile round trip to dinner. This house was in a perfect location for quietness and close to everything.

Adorable house and great fenced in yard with a lovely back porch. The neighborhood is great for evening walks with the pups, and there is a nice marsh side trail you can access about a ten minute walk from the house. The hosts live in the adjacent property and were friendly. while giving us plenty of space to feel at home.

Thankful for all of the fine touches made by the property manager. Compiled book of restaurants, bicycle trails, and other activities. Kitchen has incidentals such as salt and pepper along with many spices. Cleanliness is next to Godliness! The place is so nice and clean. Hot water! Bicycles and beach necessities right on the property! Too many great things to list! We will be back!

The cottage was very clean and exactly what we needed! The yard for my dog was perfect and he loved it! Everything in the listing was accurate and our stay exceeded our expectations!

This was our first time visiting the area. The location was close to everything. The house was perfectly stocked and very comfortable. We loved the back porch patio and our dog loved the fenced in yard. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We enjoyed staying at this rental! It had everything we needed: all in one shower gel, water in purifier pitcher, laundry pods, then extras: good bikes, picnic table, back porch (that we enjoyed), seating on back porch, ring toss game, and a hammock chair. Saw horse shoes too. There were poop bags for our dog if needed and a bowl too. It is close to things; ordered a pizza delivered. It was nice to sit, eat, & talk together on the back porch. Close to beach, we did drive there. Pleasant memories.

This lovely cottage was just perfect. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and this place was just what we needed. Everything was warm and inviting and the Schnauzers loved the fenced in tard. Our host was always avaliable for our extra beeds. Today, we go home to our flooded Everything. It was nice pretending we were on vacation.

What a wonderful vacation we had on SSI with a great home to stay in. This home was immaculate, location fantastic, and had everything we could possibly need. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the back porch. The attention to detail that this home has is the best.....even a floor fan on the back porch to help with the heat of August at the beach! We highly recommend!

Pictures don’t do this cute cottage justice! Checkin was so easy! Prior to us arriving, the owner sent me a message inquiring when we planned on arriving and stated that he would let me know if the cottage was cleaned early, and if so, we would be allowed to check in early. I noticed On my reservation that it was not listed that I would be bringing my 2 fur babies. William understood that I may have overlooked checking a box when submitting my reservation and stated that it would not be an issue. He sent me a separate bill of $20 for each night that I was able to pay separately. The house is close to East Beach where we were able to take the pups. Upon coming back to the house, there is an outside shower for us to rinse the pups (and us) off. Also, the house is close to the Winn Dixie, Redfern Village and the Fishing Pier. If you have pups, you will appreciate that the backyard is fenced in which was a huge plus for us. This is a charming home that you will regret if you overlook! We are so happy we have found a place that we can use when we want to go to SSI/Jekyll.

Our family of 5 has rented lots of houses but we unanimously declared this our favorite! This house is small but so well stocked and organized. It had everything we could ever have needed plus more. It was by far the most organized kitchen I have ever seen at a rental. We do a lot of cooking and Willy provided every pot/pan, spice, even aluminum foil! There are coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, bikes-- all for you to borrow and return. We played games, cards and even put together a puzzle. The house is only an 8 minute easy drive to East Beach, which had plenty of parking and bathrooms. Two grocery stores were within 5 minutes of the house. The street is quiet and we felt completely safe riding the bikes we borrowed from the house. The back porch has plenty of seating, games and lovely lights. Our dog traveled with us and loved the fenced in backyard. I was blown away that the house had doggy bags, bowls, towels etc. in case we forgot anything. The location was quiet but only 10-12 minutes from the island's main attractions and about 30 minutes from Jekyll Island. Truly, if you are headed to St. Simons, this is the house for you. Rent it. You will love it!
