Cozy house Near DC, in Alexandria VA, 5B/2BTH

We had a wonderful stay at this home! We came as a family and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The house was very clean and exactly as described. Anytime we had a question, the owner was extremely responsive and helpful, which made everything easy and stress-free. We would definitely stay here again!

It was the perfect house for our family and friends to stay and visit during our surprise visit to my daughter to celebrate her 30th birthday. We had a great time around the fire that night.

Easy check in & communication process…two living areas & multiple bed options and outdoor patios & fire pit are nice features.

The home was as advertised and it was an excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house was very clean. The downstairs served almost as a second small private house with its own mini kitchen and two sleeping areas. My granddaughters loved the freedom to run and play in the large and lovely backyard (soft grass and lots of beautiful trees!). Krissia was very responsive and kind and even sent someone on our first evening to help us with the Roku TVs. Very nice and quiet neighborhood, too.

There were five of us- all women in our 50-60s. The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, so it was perfect for our group. The downstairs has a second kitchen, living room and bathroom. Parking is right in the driveway. You can park at the metro - a 15 minute drive away, and easily get to DC. The IAD airport is a half hour away. The backyard is large and beautifully appointed, but it was January and freezing, so we couldn’t take advantage of it. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware. The house was clean and the neighborhood is safe. Check in/out was very straightforward. Communication with host was easy.

Our family of six enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were nice and clean. It was decorated beautifully and felt warm. We had everything we needed in the kitchen while we were there. The neighborhood is a beautiful area, so it was enjoyable to drive back to each evening. There were minor issues that we brought to the hosts attention. She quickly responded. She also offered helpful advice for our daily trips into DC. You can occasionally here the residents above at night or earlier in the morning as the VRBO is in the basement. It wasn’t a huge deal with our bedtimes and departures. We had sound machines that also helped. The host was gracious in our checkout time as well due to some unforeseen closures we weren’t expecting at attractions that morning.

Really enjoyed this property, very clean and nice soft beds. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed to make meals during our stay.
