We were a party of 8 adults, a 14yr old boy and a medium size dog. Check in process was very easy. The house had a good layout and was lovely decorated but it was a bit too tight for all of us. We loved that it was a split level home because when we all were trying to spend time in the living room it and did feel crowded but when we were each spending time in different areas of the house it was great! What I wish I knew and had come prepared for is that there weren’t enough utensils and dinnerware for all of us to eat at the same time. Only 6 forks, 1 soup spoon and 2 teaspoons in the utensils drawer. No baking tray/dish. No fire pick at the fire-pit outside. Only 3 towels for the jacuzzi. No extra hand towels for bathroom, no kitchen towels. Had plenty of knives and serving utensils, only 9 dinner plates and can't remember how many bowls, I want to say like 6, some likely left over by other renters. The hosts were very easy to contact. Overall, it was great, we loved the community, the fire-pit and jacuzzi! I might book again and come prepared :D

The house was spotless and I was super thankful it was pet friendly as I have two dogs. I loved the backyard. The hot tub was my favorite part. The host was also super responsive and friendly. Great rental!!!!!

This house was everything we needed for a cozy fall getaway. We loved relaxing in the yard, whether I'm the hot tub or around the fire and enjoying the quiet and the wildlife.We were lucky enough to have great weather but even if we didn't there was so much for the kids and grown ups to do inside the house.

We rented this property for a long weekend with our children (ages 16-25) plus our dog and we were most happy. The description was accurate and the house was cleaned and smelled good the entire time we were there! (Scent is important to me-I’ve stayed at places where the moldy or odd smells would rear itself after a day or two)Owner was very easy to reach and helpful. The arcades were so much fun; even my husband and I played a few rounds! One of our sons is handicapped so it was a little difficult for him to go up and down the stairs but he took his time and did well and was able to utilize the game room as well. Our adult children were happy and our other son took a nice run with his girlfriend early morning and were pleased with the neighborhood as well. We used one of the community pools but did not attempt the beach as it was closed off for swimming. Kitchen is well equipped for at home cooking which we did as we are a big family (plus the girlfriends made our party- 9 total) so much easier and cheaper for us to have our big meals at the property. We ventured out to the outlets on one of the rainy days and that was only a 20-25 minute drive (lots of stop and go traffic and it was crowded there)We would definitely return! Everyone had a great time and our host was extremely prompt with any questions which was greatly appreciated. The game room was a hit, and we enjoyed several activities in the area.

My family and I had an amazing stay! It had everything we needed and added bonus that we could bring our dog. The location was great and the community had really nice amenities. The owner was super quick to reply to all of my questions and very friendly!

Our 4-day stay at Alex's property was generally enjoyable. Unfortunately, the kitchen window shade was accidentally damaged by us. We've already apologized to Alex and offered to cover repair/replacement costs.While we appreciated the space, here are some constructive observations to enhance future stays: * Washing Machine & Downstairs Bathroom: Strong odor and mold in the washer made it unusable; smell affected the generally unclean downstairs bathroom. * Outdoor Fire Safety: A nearby water hose for the fire pit would enhance safety. * Exterior Appearance: Faded/peeling paint detracts from curb appeal; a fresh coat is needed. * Kitchen Basics: Missing essentials like aluminum foil, baking sheets, coffee filters, salt, and sugar were inconvenient. * Workspace: A dedicated desk in a bedroom or common area would be very beneficial for remote work. * Window Treatments & Leak: Kitchen window needs curtains/blinds. Noticed a rainwater leak through the kitchen door. * Cleaning Tools: A dustpan is needed with the broom.Despite these points, we appreciate Alex's hospitality. We hope this feedback helps improve the property for future guests.

The property speaks for itself, everything was brand new and the house smelled welcoming as soon as you walked in (literally, there were so many air fresheners that the house smelled great).The air conditioning was so cold, we found ourselves having to turn it down multiple times. Considering they allow dogs, you would never know it, because there was no hair, or odor at all. We felt completely safe in this community, loved the wild life and everything that the community had to offer, the main pool, lake beach, cafe and playground were the perfect touch for our family getaway. At night there isn’t much to do in the poconos especially when you have a toddler with you, but having the downstairs game room, equipped with arcade machines, board games, uno and dominoes, gave us all something to do and way to hang out in the house. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider going back, the hosts were so easy to get in touch with and did everything they could to be accommodating. Awesome property!
