Stayed May 14, 2026While this was a good location, this was not the experience we were hoping for. Listed as one of the bedrooms having two beds. It does not. One is a Japanese mattress that is under the bed. When you pull it out, you can’t open the door to the bedroom. The bathroom downstairs is scary. Cold, dark and very dungeon like. The dishwasher was broken and the kitchen is quite tiny. We had our whole family there and it was a tough space for us. Only one real usable tiny bathroom. I will say, communication with the property manager was immediate and excellent. For a small crew, this would be fine but would not recommend this for groups larger than 4 people.

Stayed Apr 3, 2026The two best things about this property are:1. Bang for your buck. This house easily accommodated my family of eight. From the large couch to large dining room table to the large yard. We never felt squeezed in. And our wallet didn’t feel the squeeze either. 2. Location Location Location. It was about a three minute drive to the zoo and maybe ten minutes tops downtown. Both trips involved about three turns on lightly traveled roads. House was also close to the interstate for trips to the west side or to cross the river to Council Bluffs

Stayed Apr 10, 2026It looks better in pictures than in real life, but everything we needed was there, very comfy couch and beds! Loved the huge tub! LOVED the side porch, we were out there most of the time. LOVED the dining area. Very home-y

Stayed Mar 30, 2026This house was just close enough to the things we wanted to do. It was easy to get into the house and everything worked great. We had a few messages in with the Host and she was very quick to reply and be helpful. The check in and check out instructions were very minimal which was amazing considering what could be asked which was very appealing for another return stay.

Stayed Feb 14, 2026Comfy beds, nice pillows. Basic kitchen supplies. Would be nice to have bath soap and shampoo available but can’t complain. Super close to zoo.

Stayed Dec 12, 2025Great stay! I booked this home for my daughter’s Sweet 16 so she and her friends could have a spacious place to hang out, and it was perfect. The house was really nice and clean, and the host communicated well and was very respectful. The property felt private and comfortable, which made gatherings easy. I’d definitely book again, especially in the summer to enjoy the patio.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Over all I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The shower could use a bit more detailing but all in all the home and host were wonderful. We have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and I always worry about homes that go overboard with beautification. It makes me personally uncomfortable my whole trip. This house is very inviting like you and your bestie swaped homes for the weekend, everything is not too perfect, but simply cozy and inviting. The yard is partially fenced with some play equipment for the kids, there is a back yard chicken coop, an above ground pool, with a patio, an amazing vegetable garden, peach trees, grape vines, a mulberry and a large screened in porch. The double corner lot gave my kids plenty of space to explore. Check in was super easy and our gracious host not only gave us some awesome tourist recommendations they had fresh eggs in the kitchen for us and allowed us to help ourselves to the garden. They have a very cute, very curious groundhog who also enjoyed the garden during our visit. We are a rural by choice family and coming to the city doesn't always feel comfortable to me. This was a very nice weekend city getaway. The neighborhood also seems very nice and was located within a 30 minute drive to every place we wanted to visit in the area.
