Cozy Home Less Than 5 Minutes from Liberty University - Sleeps 10

The state was excellent small rooms but fit us just fine perfect location for us

The place is just like in the pics and there is a huge deck in the back yard with lots of chairs. One of the beds is really comfy.Clean and close to University! The shower in the back has lots of water pressure. Host is really responsive to questions. Thanks for letting us stay. Great place! Only thing of note, we had 4 people staying and filled the living room up.

The house overall was really nice; the bathroom off the kitchen was a bit off putting. The kitchen and bedrooms were sufficient. The front porch and storm door was littered with spider webs and spiders, gnats, and other flying pests. Each time the front door opened, they would rush in making for an anxious experience.The front porch needs to be cleaned & the white light should be replaced it draws bugs. As for the bathrooms,well they were not very clean, there was hair, dust, & dead bugs in both. I was again, taken aback given the instructions we received indicated these things were to be cleaned by the guest at checkout the hair removed, sweep & vacuum the floors, & do laundry, which was upsetting; there was no laundry detergent when I arrived, so to expect a guess to first do the laundry & BUY detergent is a bit much. Renting Air BnB's is what we do when traveling, doing laundry, sweeping and vacuuming floors has NEVER been a requirement. I placed all linen near the washing machine. Lastly, and most importantly for me were the bugs; overall this was a HUGH issue for me! I do not like bugs and I am afraid of bugs. The ants where everywhere & spiders, lots of spiders! We killed 9 spiders in total. I killed 3 in the bedroom my husband and I slept in, which made it difficult for me to rest. I also killed some in the kitchen and in the livingroom, again making my stay uncomfortable! Hiring a professional extermination service is a strong recommendation! Bugs are an issued there!

The house is so comfortable and it was perfect for the convenient travel time to the hospital and back- My granddaughter was born and spent her 1st 2 weeks with us and I couldn’t be happier ! I would definitely stay here again !!

Clean and modern home on a quiet street. Convenient to Liberty University (2.5 miles not 1 mile as advertised). Although not listed, the grill in the backyard photo was no longer at the property to use which impacted our purchase of food to grill. The owner offered to reimburse us if we wanted to purchase an inexpensive charcoal grill, but this was an inconvenient option for us. We were charged a cleaning fee, but were required to sweep, vacuum, start a load of laundry and clean the sink and shower drains of hair. Also, when I requested to shorten the stay due to a change in the actual graduation commencement date (we originally reserved Wed-Monday), the owner lectured at length me on how much money they could be making if we hadn’t reserved the home last year and any reduction of the stay was not to their benefit. I would have preferred a “we care more about your stay and experience” message rather than a “we care about our potential loss of money” message. Overall, the home met our needs and our overall stay was enjoyable.

Quiet location and conveniently located near Liberty University and the City of Lynchburg.

The property was well maintained and clean and had basically everything we needed. The k-cups for the keurig, and bottled water and condiments in the fridge were a nice extra provided by the owner. The rooms were small, but there were plenty of beds and an added sofa bed to accommodate my family. The beds were comfortable. Having 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer was a plus. There are steps to enter the home with rails and all parking is on the street, but we had no difficulties finding a place to park our 3 vehicles. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.
