Cozy Home in the Village of Lake Placid

Lived staying at this house. Beautiful location , downtown was an easy walk. This host had amenities available. The stay was comparable to a 5 star hotel.

This was the perfect house for our extended weekend stay in Lake Placid. First, our host Andrew was very responsive to any questions I had prior to arrival. Also, he notified us that the house was ready way before the check in time. This was a big help after a very long drive! Upon arrival, we found the house to be impeccably clean and very well stocked including fresh orange juice, eggs, bagels and cream cheese in the refrigerator! The beds were very comfortable and the living space was perfect for a family of 5 adults. The location of the house is so convenient and walking distance to Mirror Lake and all the village has to offer. So happy we stayed here!

We had a lovely stay at Andrew’s home! The home was clean, cozy and perfect for our weekend! We walked everywhere we went in town, it was super convenient. I would definitely stay at Andrew’s home again!

We have stayed in various VRBO’s with our dogs. This house was one of the best supplied. I always bring extra TP, paper towels, foil etc. Andrew has everything! We were there celebrating my 70th birthday and he made it even better. The house is immaculate and very well located. It was such a wonderful weekend.

We do VRBO rentals frequently, and we found this house to be exceptionally wonderful! Easiest check in/check out we've ever experienced. The house had absolutely everything we needed (very well equipped). The house was charming and comfortable, and it was a short walk to the center of town. We even used the outside patio to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of hiking. We visited Mirror Lake, Lake Placid, the Olympic facilities/museum (relived the Miracle on Ice), and Whiteface Mountain. All worth it. Our last morning there, we went to the Olympic Ski Jump area and saw future Olympians practicing for the Olympic trials. Incredible!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to everything. The house had plenty of space and amenities and was very clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Andrew's attention to detail made our stay a wonderful experience. He goes above and beyond in making guests feel welcome as the home was equipped with anything we could have needed. He went above and beyond in leaving us coffee, bagels, eggs and juice. The home is organized and immaculate. The proximity to main street was convenient. We would absolutely stay here again. This is an awesome place and an even better host. The property has everything from a location that you can walk to anywhere in Lake Placid to being fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring you, your family, and food / beverages. Modern conveniences like Roku TV’s in every room including the kitchen and usb chargers throughout the house. Plus and backyard deck complete with a fire pit! We loved it here and will definitely be back. The host was amazing and quick to respond to any of our questions.

Had a great time in Lake Placid. The house had everything you could possibly need and was in a friendly neighborhood only a few minute walk to the Main Street and other attractions. Perfect place for our family and dog to stay. Thanks for a great visit!
