Cozy Home in Historic Harrisburg

The property felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend it.

The house and the neighborhood were both historic and interesting. It was conveniently located for everywhere we needed to go and within walking distance of the river foot path, which was a nice bonus. The host was prompt and clear in communication and the check-in process was smooth and easy.There were a handful of small inconveniences related to the house itself that would have made things a four star overall (a clock not working, dining room chairs where the seat wasn't attached to the frame., a floorboard nail that kept catching on socks, a slow draining sink, a bath fan that stopped working, the electronic door lock wouldn't engage when we left). The larger issue that made things a three star stay was the flexible fourth bedroom. The listing specified an air mattress which would have been fine because we knew that going in. But there were no sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, washcloths, etc. for any guests who might use that room or that bed. Two of our group stayed with family nearby as a result, but other guests might not have the same option. Without those things the listing should be revised to say that the house only sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.

The property was spacious, clean, and in a great location with a lot of character! Communication with the host was always quick and friendly to get any questions answered. Parking can be a bit tricky (be mindful of parking near hydrants and crosswalks) but there was never an issue finding a spot within a couple blocks.

Great location, very clean, and very reasonably priced.

Nice place to stay for events at the farm show complex. Very short drive there. Parking at the house was a little tricky to find but certainly would not stop us from staying again. The house has plenty of room, was clean, and kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We would definitely come stay again! Thanks!

Nice property in mud town Harrisburg, very walkable neighborhood. Communication was great. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The host was very welcoming. This is a beautiful historical house but it needs some attention. though the kitchen offers plenty of amenities, it could use a new refrigerator (water leaking on to the floor, inside door broken, no inside light). The living room and dining room could use better lighting. It was very dim and the shades were hard to open to let Light in. The host offered shampoo and conditioner in the showers, but the hand soap dispensers were all empty. Same for the dish soap dispenser in the kitchen. There were a few nails in the floorboards that would catch on your socks. The host states that the house sleeps eight people, but one of those beds is a blowup mattress. Very deceiving. The mattresses in the other bedrooms were very nice though.

The property was exactly as listed and it was great to be in the historic district of Harrisburg! Jordan was amazing to work with, answers quicky and check-in was simple. Great few days in Harrisburg, thank you!

This place was very cute and spacious. It had everything we needed for our overnight in Harrisburg,we wish we could have stayed longer.

We brought the family up for the Damian and Stephen Marley concert! It accommodated everyone. It was great to a space to relax, eat, hangout, and have quality time together before and after the show. We Ubered to the Riverfront stage. Nestled in a quaint one way street, it was easy to access the Riverfront walkway. The only bummer we had was the backyard space was not landscaped for outdoor use. It would have been nice to have an outside option. A little trimming and cutting would allow for a nice additional option.We would stay again for other events.

Not enough toilet paper

nice place. great location for what i was doing. seeing family and smallmouth bass fishing. 4 stars bc backyard was not dog or people friendly. but a close by park was very close. i would use again.

Good location, not too far from the farm complex

Beautiful little neighborhood. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we were fortunate to find spots within a couple of blocks each night.

Great location for Harrisburg area. Walkable to riverfront, restaurants, etc. Quaint home, great value. The only hitch was a front door difficult to open but manager responded quickly to assist.

Loved the location and the property. We were happy to discover that it had more amenities and was better equipped than described. Space was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to the Capitol andocal restaurants.
