Cozy Home 3 miles from Purdue

It was a perfect place for the 6 of us to stay while we visited family. The owners are very hospitable and were quick to respond to our needs and questions.

Small but cozy! Lots of rules to abide by, but I understand why those rules are in place. Beds are comfy. Quiet neighborhood. The home has all of the necessities you need. Would definitely rent this home again!

We had to spend Thanksgiving in Lafayette since our son was having his last football game of the season, we were fortunate to have found this reasonable rental. The location was excellent in a very quite neighborhood, close to everything we needed and easy to get around. Communication with the host was outstanding; Andrew was responsive (the maids forgot to leave extra trash bags the next day Andrew had dropped some off), helpful, and even kept me updated snow plow schedule and when the sidewalks would be salted. The 2 car garage was great to have for this trip, keeping our vehicles clean and warm. The house its self was clean and comfortable. Thanks for hosting Andrew and for being accommodating to our family and particular needs of early check in, life saver after a long red eye and drive to WLAF . Cheers

Just perfect for what was needed for a couple nights in town.

I felt like the check out expectations were a little overkill considering there is a cleaning fee already included in the cost of the VRBO but we did most of the prep work. The owner also sent a message with property rules that was incredibly long and had conflicting information. The master bath shower did not drain properly, I had water up to my ankles after 5 minutes of showering. For the price of the property, I would’ve liked slightly better quality bath towels provided, they looked like they could’ve been my childhood bath towels from 2005 and were all mismatched. I felt like the owner was messaging me quite a bit throughout my stay with expectations to respond even though I was trying to enjoy my weekend with friends. The power went out while we were staying there which is obviously not the owners fault but when I sent a message to alert them there wasn’t really a follow up other than acknowledging my initial message.

We enjoyed our stay this property. We were in town for a Purdue event. Close proximity to campus, food, shopping and everything you might need while still being in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and more. Will stay again when we frequent Purdue.

Pefect place.....wish I could have stayed longer.

The only thing in the winter it was cold in the house had to ask how to turn heat up . The only thing I could think of is have more towels and wash cloths and maybe a little thinker . Loved the sound machines it helped cover the noise from 231

We booked this property to visit our son who is attending Purdue. It was perfect for our needs. Communication with host was great.

We had a great stay. Clean and as advertised. The only comment is if you are noisy sensitive you may hear freeway at the night.

We came into town for a football game and had a great stay! Very clean, and easy check-in and out process.

Property was away from campus but close enough to everything you needed. There were a few cleaning items mentioned to the owner but they were apologetic, and I feel items will be corrected before the next guests. Neighborhood properties were not kept up to potential, however, everyone was quiet and polite.

I rather pay a cleaning fee to have a clean house when we arrive. It's only getting light cleaning between quests. The shower between 2 bRs has long time scum build up, dust every where. The front and back doors are cheaply made of a soft wood that my 79 yr old husband was able to push the door in with just a push of his shoulders when it didn't respond to the code. At first glance, inside the house looked neat and orderly - later not so much VRBO - BEWARE - Without full details this house had many problems - if details are needed please ask Doors, inside and outside in disrepair - again, please ask for details - Owner is charging for door repairs. I have no problem paying for the door repair, with the understanding that the door was already damaged and in need of repair - need more details please ask Had to sweep leaves etc from front entrance on arrival to prevent tracking into house Garage door did not work - notified but not repaired Surface cleaning only - Dead flies, bugs etc in window seals, spider webs in living room Could not watch TV during the afternoon - room too bright due to light coming through the blinds Ice-maker not working - used ice trays The grass was partially cut - never returned to finish cutting Back deck not usable due to Hwy noise Ray
