Cheer on the Purdue Boilermakers at Ross-Aide Stadium or brush up on some local history at the Tippecanoe Battlefield. How about some golf One of Indiana's longtime private country clubs, Battle Ground Golf Club, has now opened its championship holes to the public. Other golfing includes the Boilermaker Golf Complex, Coyote Crossing, Lafayette Golf Course and Ravines Golf Course. An extended stay in Lafayette should be complemented with a walk through historic downtown. Visit the Red Crown Gas Station, a mini-museum on the corner of 6th and South that is a restored 1930s Standard Oil filling station featuring old-time artifacts.
