*****ATTENTION ****If you're looking for a nice clean place to stay keep scrolling. Upon approaching the property it was apparent that no one cared about it. All the hedges were overgrown and it appeared to be completely unkept. Once inside I saw that it was true, sometimes you can judge a book by its cover. It looked as if someone had cleaned it to be good enough , but definitely not clean. The inside of the refrigerator was dirty, there was general grime in all of the corners of the house, stains in the bed spread, and even mouse droppings on the welcome book. I was also sad to see that the code to the front door was printed in the welcome book, which indicated that most likely whoever stayed there before or after me, we all most likely had the same code. During our stay the toilet broke. The chain on the inside of the toilet had broken from the handle. I was very disheartened to see that the chain had been broken previous to our arrival, and that someone had attempted to repair it with aluminum foil! We immediately sent a message to the owners notifying them of the broken toilet. We asked them to come fix it and no one came until nearly 24 hours later! One piece of advice I would give to the owners is please clean the place from top to bottom, and try just a little.
The pictures show a cute space with updates. My experience from start to finish was entirely different: Door that didn’t feel secure and had to be repaired because wouldn’t catch to stay locked Nice couch, nice beds Shower and Bathroom that made me feel like I was at a campground Cute kitchen Sink that backed up sending sewage water all over the basement floor Basement of nightmares Washer up on blocks Dryer that ruined clothes Washer drain that sent sewer water all over the floor From then on every time I walked through the door the scent of rotten food mixes with laundry soap hit me My recommendation would be to just stay in a hotel
House nicely remodeled. Doors and entry lock need attention. Ants were seen in kitchen and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Location is excellent for the festival.
Doors can use some Updating
House was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Only complaint is ants in the kitchen and bathroom, The Neighborhood was rough looking. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
