Cozy Guest Suite with Fireplace & Private Entrance

This is a really nice suite. I've stayed here before and will probably do so again. It's comfortable and very private. I didn't hate the snacks either ; ]

The space was bigger than I anticipated. The listing said “cozy” which typically means tiny, but there was a good amount of space. It is a basement apartment and there is a family, I’m assuming the host, residing upstairs. There are the usual sounds that go along with that, but nothing annoying. The water pressure was less than I’m used to, and the air conditioning was set lower than I expected (with no control by the guests), but overall, it was a great experience. We attended a Royals MLB game, which was only a 20 minute drive and there were plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The kitchen is more or less a wet bar with a microwave and mini-fridge, but it suited our needs sufficiently. I would recommend this stay to a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It is great! The only two comments, there was a rose bush impeding the walk area. The water pressure was low for the shower. Thanks again

The property was perfect for our visit. Very spacious, modern decore, extras like coffee in the room. We loved our neat, quiet, spacious accommodations! Very private and quiet.

The place looked great. The folksy sayings were a nice touch. Whatever I didn't like someone else will. I'd recommend this to anyone. I liked the bar the most. The snacks were good, too. Oh, the label removal square things on the stools helped me. Thank you.

I needed a place to stay for a week while in KC, and this worked out really well. 15 minutes from KC, plenty of restaurants nearby, not far off US71, just a good situation for me. Much better than a cramped room somewhere, this is a nice-sized apartment. Hosts are thoughtful, providing snacks and toiletries - I especially appreciated the wrinkle-release spray! I'd stay here again!

Nice place. Very simple and quiet. Owners very responsive. No stove, just a microwave, but that wasn't a problem for me. I would stay here again!

The property was clean, in a safe neighborhood, and cozy. There was a strong odor when I first walked in everyday, but the placed seemed clean otherwise. There’s a family that lives upstairs and the kids were pretty noisy. It didn’t bother me since I was there with my toddler, but that might be an issue for someone else. Overall, I would stay here again—it’s the most reasonably priced place I could find in KC. There is a donut shop close by that I rate 10/10!

this place was simply amazing. It’s like your own hotel suite with everything you could possibly want. The next time I come up this way I’m planning on booking my entire stay there instead of just one night.

It needs updating. All the doors stuck, and one had the beginning of a hole. It was a bit noisy but that was to be expected since we were in the basement.The outside patio and furniture were dirty.The bathroom could use some TLC, and it was cold. No thermostat so we were at the mercy of the house inhabitants. The pull-out bed is worse for the wear. We purchased a bed topper so someone could sleep on it but that did not work well. So, we found the inflatable bed, it had a slow leak in it. The carpet in front of the linen/coat/clothing closet was wet for some reason. We could not find out where the water was coming from.

This was my first stay and I really did not know what I was doing. I didn't know about the app. But I will have it before next time. The location was incredible. So were the animals. The cottage was PRFECT. I had to force myself to stop eating the muffins. I would give them a wonderful score.

This place was close and convenient to family in KC.

Unit was clean and very roomy. Comfy bed. We had a good stay.

The perfect place to stay for a couple of days away. It was just the reset my heart and mind needed. The family living on property made me feel safe and secure since I was traveling alone - but the nice private apartment gave me the solitude I needed! Can’t wait to go back in warmer weather so I can enjoy the adorable patio!

Was a nice place to stay for just sleeping. Not set up for any cooking and need to drive out for food or shopping.
