Cozy Getaway with a View!

House was very clean. Does have that older farmhouse type smell, but not unpleasant. Very close to the road and the view, while an overlook, you're overlooking a water treatment plant below. The hot tub jets didn't all work. Overall, it was a nice place, well appointed, with some nice extra touches (e.g. soap/shampoo/fluffy towels/comfy bed and pillows/washer/dryer/good parking/fire pit). I wouldn't stay again, but only because there are other places same or lower priced with better views and off main road.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

Great place for a weekend in the mountains!

We came to celebrate good friends daughter getting married at BlackBerry Ridge venue. I found this sweet little place that was just a few minutes from the venue. I also like to hike and found Cloudland State Park for a few trails during our stay. The house was clean and we enjoyed getting up and watching the sunrise over the valley!

Fantastic property. My friends and I had a great time! Everything was clean and ready for us, and we enjoyed staying around the house just as much as going to Chattanooga and enjoying the area!

Our family loved this cozy home near Chattanooga! The view over Trenton City Valley was absolutely stunning—especially at sunset. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and gathering around the fire pit each evening. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A perfect mix of nature and convenience—we’d definitely come back!

The view is spectacular and it’s a short drive to Chattanooga. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Soaking in the Hot tub while looking out at that view was truly amazing. Host communication was quick, easy, and friendly.

It was not the cozy getaway! Constant road noise during every night and the neighbors are within ear shot of us.

Property was very clean, had anything and everything you would need available. View is amazing, fire pit is on edge of property with THAT view! Hot tub, big deck off kitchen. Easy access to town. Anyone that is in town to visit SLTC I would recommend staying here.

This place is as advertised. The pictures are accurate, the place is clean, and has everything you need. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the hot tub. I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful property with an outstanding view of Trenton. 15 min away from Cloudland Canyon. Clean and comfy house with excellent amenities. Will be returning!

I’m always a little nervous about the pictures vs actuality, but I can tell you this place was spot on. The view was awesome the home was very clean and our hostess was quick to respond with any questions we had. Very nice. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The Mountain House has a beautiful view, great location and peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The host provides all that you need for your stay and the house is spacious and clean.

We enjoyed 5 days at this lovely location. Loved being so close to Trenton and stores yet far enough away from the city. Beautiful views. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall we had a great stay. However the hot tub didn’t heat up past 95deg and the propane tank was empty so we had to find our own propane to use the grill.

This was a great property to come back to at the end of the day for relaxation. The views are beautiful and the house is very comfortably furnished. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the area.

Very peaceful

We stayed here on vacation two years ago and have often talked about how much we enjoyed it. We had the opportunity to return to the Chattanooga area again this summer and were excited to discover that this home was available. Some of our favorite features of this rental include: the gorgeous view of the mountains from the backyard and windows on the back of the house (kitchen and two bedrooms), the fire pit, the hot tub, the back deck, the relatively close distance to popular spots (Chattanooga, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Cloudland Canyon, etc.), the coziness and cleanliness of the home, and the quiet neighborhood. We are looking forward to our third visit to this awesome home!

This property sits high on the side of a mountain with breathtaking views of the small but functional little twon below. Close enough to Chattanooga to enjoy all it had to offer but far enough away to escape the busy city and just enjoy nature, and the host were so accommodating and never lack on communication. 100/100 would recommend and we will definitely be staying again in the future.
