Cozy Farmhouse in Mount Vernon

The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. It worked out well for what we needed for our stay in that area.

We were moving our daughter into college and this was perfectly located, spacious and comfortable.

Excellent stay! Would definitely recommend. Pictures don’t do this place justice. One of the nicest and cleanest stays I’ve had.

This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have stayed in! Everything felt clean and fresh from the moment we walked in. First impressions are everything! After that first impression, we were pleased with the decor, comfortable furniture and spacious rooms. We will absolutely want to stay here again the next time we return to Mount Vernon!

This property was quite pleasant and quiet . We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed our stay . The house was beautiful and clean . I wish the kitchen would have been better stocked for a cook , as I love to cook for my family . All and all I absolutely enjoyed the house .

A fine house that has been fully upgraded.Doesn’t look great from the outside. But the inside is very charming. The kitchen cupboards could use handles to help open them more easily

Overall, this house is beautiful and actually larger than the photos appear. There are nice upgrades and touches throughout the home. We consider this an excellent stay but there are a couple things that we think definitely need to be addressed. The transom openings in the master bedroom/ master bathroom are a bummer. The opening creates light and noise for anyone trying to sleep earlier than the others in the living room and is a privacy issue. The bathroom... well, I'm sure you can imagine that smell can be an issue for anyone using the bathroom while your partner is using the bathroom. It was gross frankly. The kitchen cabinets are very slick and hard to open without pulls or handles... especially the bottom ones. Our last feedback was the AC unit mounted right outside the master bedroom... it vibrates ALOT and is loud. That could use some attention. Again, really nice home overall!

Great place. Some of the lights needed new bulbs, some windows lacked blinds..overall a great stay clean and great space for the price point. Close proximity to Kenyon College for my freshman’s drop off

Lovely place to stay!

There are no handles on the cabinets. There were no coffee filters. There were no towel hooks. There was no soap. The master bedroom light switch is inside the bathroom.

Always immaculate. Easy to access and questions are answered promptly. Great place to stay.

The house is lovely and very clean. We had a very comfortable stay.

We will be visiting the area 2-3 times a year for the next 6 years. So we are motivated to find good options. No red flags at all. We were not there much, so hard say what we would change.

Overall, enjoyed the property and thought it was very tastefully decorated. Only minor issue was that due to renovation/construction occurring next door, observed male construction worker urinating several feet from kitchen window on multiple occasions (while directly facing window). Would suggest installing curtains/blinds on window by kitchen sink.

The house is very comfy and clean. Neighborhood can be a little sketchy, but it didn’t affect our stay.

The VRBO was great location for our visit to Kenyon. It was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely consider when we have another visit to Ohio. Thank you!
