Cozy Family Sized Home, Nestled on the Creek

We had a great time. Easy access to Gettsyburg, Hershey and Lancaster. While the I gave the hosts 5 stars for communication, I had trouble navigating Vrbo software. Could be it’s just me.

This creekside property was a perfect gathering place for us to bring together family. In warmer weather there are multiple large outdoor picnic tables that you can watch the Creek roll by. For colder weather the home has a very warm, remote cabin feel to it. The remote feeling is especially cool considering you're just minutes away from Harrisburg, Carlisle Pike, and Mechanicsburg dining and entertainment options. It's also minutes from Grandma's house in our case, so we plan on being back! Five stars

This rental was exactly what we needed for our family Thanksgiving when people come from different directions. Wonderful amenities and beautiful location...close to Hershey Park & lots of shopping. Would've greatly enjoyed the deck overlooking the river had it been a little warmer.

I was headed to PA for our father's funeral and my 4 siblings and I were able to stay together. Huge uplift for us all to connect after a long time apart. Beautiful home, location, perfect for us. Thank e!

Good amount of space for the number of people we had. Nice big dining room table and multiple bathrooms. There were ants everywhere, and they even got into the food that we stored in the microwave to try to keep it safe. Wifi was very spotty and sometimes did not work at all. The front pathway was completely overgrown with plants which made it very difficult to walk and carry luggage through.

Came for a national archery tournament and what little time we spent at the property was wonderful! Host was VERY prompt with questions/concerns we had. If we are ever back up here, we hope this property will be available! Thank you so much for the welcoming hospitality.

The home is great and fit our family needs perfectly. The host was personable and quickly answered all our questions. The home was tastefully decorated. The grounds provided space for the children to play and in the evening provided a serene atmosphere to enjoy some wine and watch the fireflies dancing in the night air.

We had a great stay this June at this beautiful house. There were six of us, but the house could easily accommodate a much larger gathering. The home was beautiful and clean with lots of gathering areas, both indoors and out. The Mechanicsburg location was perfect for our plans as we visited nearby Hershey Park, Gettysburg (about an hour away) and Lancaster County ( an hour). When we had questions, the owner replied promptly and was very helpful.

We chose this property because we needed a large space to accommodate my family and my brother‘s family together. We were looking for a location close to Harrisburg, and this location was perfect and also seems like a getaway. The view from the windows is gorgeous, and also secluded. The bedrooms are very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals throughout the weekend. The owner was very responsive to questions.

The house was big enough to host several out of town families attending Messiah graduation. The deck and yard were great for relaxing and playing yard games.

I recently stayed at a lovely house in Mechanicsburg, and I can't recommend it enough! The host was absolutely phenomenal—responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The property was clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. It exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area. A truly fantastic stay!

Second year for our family staying here to celebrate. We enjoyed the home, amenities and outdoor area. Well stocked and owner extremely easy to work with, communication was great!

this was a great property. we had rented it initially for us and the kids for a reunion but unforseen events caused it to be only me and my wife. I think this would be the perfect place for a family. plenty of room and very peaceful by the creek. the place was a little tricky to find and night the first time but after daylight all became very easy. ran into a scheduling glitch and the owner was more than helpful. couldn't ask for more.

Three families booked the Creek House to visit Hershey Park and the House was conveniently a few minutes from the highway. House is secluded, however, and the yard was discuss as well as beautiful. Plenty of shade and open areas for kids to run around. The back deck had plenty of seating and great view of the creek. On the last day we saw a good number of people floating down the creek which has a steady flow but not deep. House was perfect and had everything you could think of to make you feel comfortable and entertained. The teenagers enjoyed the pool table and the young ones had plenty of room to explore. Overall, we couldn't have booked a better house; it was perfect.

We were very pleased with this house, it had everything we needed and wanted for our trip. The beds were comfortable, the new air conditioning worked great. The property is so pretty!! The kids loved the hammocks outside and the ability to go splash in the creek. The location of this property is just what we wanted, too: a half-hour drive to Hersheypark and Gettysburg, and we were thrilled to discover there is everything you could need for shopping just 10 minutes away: Walmart, Target, REI, grocery stores, alcohol stores, and much more.

Was great for Friday afternoon & evening small family get together that happens for us once a year, grandkids loved it, space indoors and out to run.

This is a tough one William is very nice and quick to respond, this place has potential but needs a little work around the property, mostly outside.
