Amarillo, Texas
This is a home where you step outside and you are surrounded by nature. We have deer and Wild Turkey. Just a short walk away is the creek where you can watch many types of birds or see turtles bathing in the sun. In the summer you can fish, swim, canoe. Inside is a nice spacious house with three bedrooms. But you will not have so travel far for shopping and entertainment. This is a place where you can have the best of both worlds, all the nature and still get a pizza delivered to you.
Loved the house very homely
Beautifully renovated interior of the home with all you need for your stay. Fully equipped kitchen was nice and washer and dryer were a plus. Home is in quiet neighborhood but outside of property is a bit run down in appearance. Felt a bit uneasy when we first drove up to property but overall is was a good place to stay if hiking in Palo Duro Canyon.
Loved the cleanliness of the property, the amenities provided, the ease of acess to the nearest city (fuel station in 3 miles), and a quite neighborhood. Would love to come back here.
The property had everything we needed, was clean and cozy. We misplaced a wallet realizing after we left and the host was incredibly helpful. Thank you for helping get that to us!
This home was very cute and lots beds for everyone. I was under the impression it was on the water but it is a short walk (.4 miles) to reach a point where you can get to the water. It felt like I was living up in a treehouse, very fun get away.
Very nice home in a very quiet neighborhood that is close to all nearby attractions. Great central area to Palo Duro and Amarillo. Super easy to get to everything! Our family loved the many many different games available in the house. ?
We traveled to Amarillo to hand off the kids for a visit with their grandparents in New Mexico. It was a lovely, restful place to spend a couple of nights. Loved seeing the deer! Hubby enjoyed the piano. The front porch was lovely, and the bedrooms were comfy!
Nice place close to Palo Duro Canyon or Amarillo. House is clean and has everything you need. We made our own dinner/lunch to save money and the kitchen had everything we needed, just bring your own food/seasonings.
Cute home, new appliances, comfy beds, spacious. Owner was responsive, check in/check out was a breeze. Easy to get to Canyon, Amarillo, Caprock, and palo duro. Tucked away location, perfect for a girls weekend of hiking the canyons.
Living room was spacious yet cozy and kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dinnerware, etc.
great place to stay to visit palo dura. roomy and very comfy!
Cozy, with deer walking around the property. Perfect for a getaway
Me and my family loved staying at this place. We went for Christmas to stay away from all the city noise. Host was very nice and comprehensive on having some other family members go for a few hours as it was my mother's birthday.
We came to hike Palo Duro Canyon while in Kansas for a family visit. Hiking was great and Amelia's place was just what we needed to rest before and after our adventure. Quiet, spacious, spotless and with all of the comforts. Amelia was easy to reach and available to answer questions. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Loved this cute home! Plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 kiddos. Had a great stay! Host was easy to speak to and helpful!
The Vrbo website created two bookings one correct and the other with incorrect dates, resulting in us having to alter our travel plans. The host was very helpful in helping us deal with the situation.
Very nice and clean property. Loved being out in nature.
We were there for two nights to celebrate my sisters life, who recently passed away. The house/neighborhood was quiet. The inside of the house was comfortable. The owners were more than accommodating when I thought more family might be staying with us. Even though the circumstances were less than ideal, overall, it was a nice place to stay.
