Stayed Feb 13, 2026Great location and beautiful view for a family ice fishing and ice skating weekend. Plenty of table space for cards/games. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and beds for heads.

Stayed Jan 2, 2026We planned a family snowmobile trip here. The trail access is very close to ride to St Germain, Eagle River, Arbor Vitae etc. Restaurant directly across the lake with great food (Pitlik's Resort). Only one snowmobile trailer in the driveway, but close parking for additional trailers. Would def stay here again. Hostess (Lindsey) answered phone right away for questions we had.

Stayed May 23, 2025Everything was great. Fantastic house with everything we needed for a fun weekend at the lake. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, grill and fire pit were convenient for outdoor time. Very peaceful location.

Stayed Nov 1, 2024The views from the living room and loft are fantastic. Floor to ceiling windows make for a great experience. The fireplace was an amazing addition for a romantic weekend. All amenities were supplied and we needed nothing! 10 out of 10 would stay again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a great stay at this comfortable home on Dam Lake. The lake is beautiful, the home comfortable, and has plenty of sleeping accommodations. The house isn’t far from in town amenities but is situated in a quiet forested area that offers the solitude of the north woods. There are neighbors close by, but people were friendly and quiet. We saw several eagles, one flew right through the yard. Also, offers plenty of dark night skies for stargazing. We would stay here again.

Stayed Oct 1, 2024Didn't realize the houses would be right next to each other...we were looking for more seclusion...none of the pictures show this...both bathroom sinks were plugged...windows were dirty...no batteries in clocks...porch and storm door needs to be replaced...gave a very poor first impression... The house was very spacious, and all the items for our stay were supplied...it would be really nice and helpful if there was a packet listing places to eatand things to do in the area, as well as nearest medical facilities, etc.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024My family has been visiting this cabin for a number of years now and we always have a wonderful, relaxing time. We enjoy cruising the chain of lakes on the pontoon boat, kayaking along the undeveloped areas, watching loons in the early mornings or eagles soaring overhead during the day. We'll be back!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Our family had a great time here. The place was what we needed for 9 adults ! All the beds were comfortable and the place was clean!! Downtown Eagle River was a quaint little town and the Minoqua area was great as well. We saw the lumber jack show and went to a great place called Forestry Tap and Axe for some fun adult games and beer…

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The view of the lake is awesome, but the house lacked cleanliness when you first arrive the front porch railing leans to the right. Then when you open the door and walk in between the smell of pet dander and the bounce sheets is very overwhelming. Then you move into the kitchen and the stove was totally disgustingly dirty and the outside of the refrigerator was filthy the cupboards were not washed off were you open them. We were sitting on the couch watching TV we kept smelling dog food. My husband moved the couch and there was about a cup of dog food under the couch and a lot of dust and dog hair. The windows were filthy they had foot and nose prints on the patio doors. The moldings on the right patio door were shot and was very hard to open. I emailed the hostess and she said she would notify the cleaning team. From talking to the neighbors, the owners don't really care so for the money we paid for the rental for a week I think it should be cleaner than it was. So, if you have pets or no allergies from pets you would probably enjoy renting a pet house. Thats why I would give it a poor rating.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was beautiful and well maintained. We were given a minimum of bath towels, hand towels and washcloths for the number of guests. We were a party of eight. There were no kitchen dish cloths and dishtowels and we had to purchase some in town to take care of dishes, pans that could not be done in the dishwasher. Also had to provide our own toilet paper and kleenex. The information provided said there was a teapot. There was no teapot but a tea kettle to heat water. A teapot is used to steep tea in hot water by the potful.Thankfully there was laundry equipment to wash towels as needed. The lake was beautiful but there are leeches even if you wear water foot gear. The weather was cool and rainy for all but 2 days but there was a wide range of activities in the area to keep all of us busy and entertained.
