Nice property, just needs to be updated

The host was very friendly and helpful. Along with her manager/maintenance guy. We had a few minor issues but they were resolved quickly. It is a drive to go almost places. But it was well worth it to us. The house was perfect for us and we were comfortable. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen. That had most of what we needed. Having a washer/dryer really came in handy. I really don’t have anything negative to say.

Our Thanksgiving stay was terrific. It was a bit cold so couldn’t really enjoy the lake too much but there was a nice chiminea out back so we had a fire one night. The house was very clean and laid out great with plenty of gathering space. Jolanta even provided a roaster and disposable pans for the cooking. Very thoughtful!

Jolanta was a great to communicate with I only write the review as a courtesy to potential other renters, I would want to know. Upon entering the home, it beautiful, clean , well kept and well-stocked. We began to notice dead (large) bugs which communicated with homeowner and was told they are palmetto bugs and had been sprayed for the week before . Upon leaving , we removed the sheets and there’s a huge dark (looks like blood) stain on the bed my son slept in. He’s 17. When communicating with the owner , she said that she would have charged me had it not been for me taking insurance. This was disturbing to me due to knowing there is absolutely no way we created that spot we only had water for drinking , no was got hurt, we had a small dog who was monitored the entire time and never has accidents goes outside . The lake and area are beautiful! The homeowner is very easy to communicate with. I just felt like this should be a fair warning for other renters.

Our stay was great. Checkin was easy, and we had great communication with the host.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this quaint lake house. The house is very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the lake. There are swings and a very comfortable oversized lounge chair. The cove is very peaceful as well.

Loved this lake home. The good - the owner was a wonderful to work with. The house was clean. The view from the deck was beautiful. We picked this place for a lake view during morning coffee time on a deck. It 100% met our expectations there.The needs improvement - Outdated showers: Bathrooms do need a bit of updating (master shower too small for my husband of 230 lbs to use). We all had to use the spare bathroom) and large furniture in closet made it difficult to utilize during our stay. Master bath outlet did not work. Poor outdoor lighting: the first night there, we pulled up after dark. There were no outdoor lights, nor any signs to help direct us to the front door (lots of shrubbery blocking view of porch from parking area). Maybe a small sign and an outdoor light at the parking area to provide light at night and direct newcomers? Not an earth shattering issue as we found the door, was just difficult with no lights to see so we had to use our phones and kept the vehicle headlights on.Owner on property during stay: this listing mentions the owner lives on the property, but we didn’t expect the owner to be present each time we opened the front door. She was pleasant and kind, it just felt less like a private retreat with her being right outside the front door each morning.

Peaceful and altogether beautiful cove. Though the house is beautiful you’ll probably find yourself relaxing on the back deck. It was my favorite part of the entire property. If I’m ever in search of another lake vacation property I’ll definitely be booking here.

Great get away, just a bit far from stores

Clean, good location, and plenty to do.

Code would not work to get in house. No ramp to unload boat had to find a neighbor to ask to use boat ramp. There were no cleaning station to clean our catch and no lights on dock. The walk down to boat dock was step and unlevel with no hand rails.

Ms. Jolanta is very friendly and asked how our stay was by phone the place was very clean. We ran over a bush backing the boat trailer in the driveway. Called her and apologized for it. Very pleasant stay and quiet.

Location on lake was good. Neighbors allowed us to use their ramp(which was very nice of them). Place was clean and has a dock. Owner was AWSOME!

We had a wonderful experience at this home. It was clean and warm. All the basic needs were met in the house such as linens and dishes. It was very easy to access and so much better than staying in a hotel. The host was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was in great shape they had everything we needed it was in a perfect location the dock was great so I could ark my bass boat and charge my trolley motor batteries. I wouldn’t change nothing great property and great trip

The house is nice the neighborhood is quiet the back porch is fantastic. The owner has been so nice and helpful I have no complaints.

This property set up great for our needs, we were there to practice for a fishing tournament. It had all of the comforts, close to ramps, right on the water.

Nice location, good place to relax. Really enjoyed the stay.

Perfect place for family vacation. Boat dock was close enough to the spot that it only took ~7 minutes to travel to on water. Clean and nice space. Thoroughly enjoyed the vacation with family.
