Cozy Council Bluffs Bungalow 10 mins from Omaha

Nice place

Would be nice if extra blankets were offered for warmth, softer, thicker mattresses, some welcome muffins or something. Would be nice to have the porch light on upon arriving as it was dark. Offer sand or salt for all the steps as it snowed and froze while we were there as these are items offered @ other VRBO’s we’ve stayed at, the place was clean, a little worn, but unfortunately smelled very musty, so much so, my daughter-in-law got a migraine and sinus congestion, couldn’t sleep and they ended up staying @ my other son’s home the 2nd night! driveway…ugggghhh. Short and steep!! Host was quick to respond and pleasant. Unfortunately we will not be booking there again.

My son is stationed at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE. The base is less than 20 minutes from house. House is also close to Omaha. We hiked in park that was just a few minutes away from house. The neighborhood surrounding the house is amazing. Cobblestone streets and very old beautiful houses. This home provided everything we needed for our visit. It was very nice being able to wash clothes. Having a garage was the cherry on top. We were able to park my daughter’s Trackhawk Jeep in it. The driveway is very steep, but we were still able to park on it. I will definitely stay here next time I visit my son.

Nice place overall. Enjoyed our stay. Quick response to questions by owner. Would recommend sheet and blankets for living room futon as well as more pillows. Steep stairs to get up to front door and steep drive way. Go in at an angle or will rub bottom of car.

Very clean, modern and cozy. The appliances, TV, linens, towels, bedding were in great condition. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, walkable to tourist sites and the Hundred Block area (some steep hills). There are steepish stairs to enter the property and to use the washer /dryer in the basement. The property manager was excellent, very responsive. I would definitely return.

Very clean and comfortable 2 BR, 1 Bath unit. Modern amenities, comfortable beds, pillows and living room furniture. Property manager was excellent. Walking distance to the local attractions (note that there are steep hills). Across the street from a park with a running/walking track. Note that there are steepish stairs to get to the unit and to access the laundry area. Also the driveway is very steep, don’t try it with a low car. Park on the street instead.

We came to Council Bluffs for a sister weekend. As soon as we walked in, it smelled so clean and fresh. This was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. It is in a historic part of Council Bluffs. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and checking out the houses and the cobblestone streets. Emily was great to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay for our family of 5 vacation. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. And we especially enjoyed the garage to make us feel secure with all of our belongings. Thank you!
