Stayed Oct 24, 2025We loved this space and the ability to walk to the downtown area. The house was quaint and lovely for the four of us. The only drawback I have is it was advertised with a fireplace but sadly the fireplace was not in working condition. That would have been nice to know!

Stayed Aug 30, 2025Great location. We were able to walk downtown for all of our meals. The house was super comfortable and very comfy beds. I would love to rent again in the future. Big shout out to Black Mountain. It was my first trip to this town but not my last. I enjoyed how friendly everyone was and the “laid back” vibe, throughout the town.

Stayed Aug 26, 2025Loved staying at the Cozy Cottage. Very clean and the updated kitchen and bathroom were very nice. All the comforts of home. We especially liked that we were within walking distance of downtown Black Mountain. Will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Excellent little house for our family of 4 stay. Easy check in, everything we needed for the week long stay. Close to town and the lake, an easy walk to both. Laundry facilities in the basement were clean and easy to use. Although it only has one bathroom it worked fine for us. Great shower pressure. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025We were in the Black Mountain area for our son's Senior Day for baseball. He attends Montreat College. The house was in a perfect location for getting to the school as well as all the wonderful restaurants. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable! We appreciate the opportunity to stay!
